I don't know this author, but I looked him up on his site and his bio is with the Methodist Church and he is now a pastor of the GMC (Global Methodist Church) which separated from the United Methodist Church to sustain a message of walking a holy life, living as Jesus called us to in the Word. I haven't read it but his bio makes me believe it should be okay. This is non-fiction.
