I have five books by her but I don't think that I've read any of those. It seems like I've read her but it must have been a library book! I looked at her books at Amazon and none of them are familiar - I'm wanting to go ahead and read that one and since I finished two books last night, I'll start this one tonight and let you know what I think.0

This is the last day of STUFF YOUR KINDLE days. There are over 2000 free books, but no easy way to find Christian Fiction. I did find some and a category for sweet contemporary romance that had a Liz Isaacson book and several clean authors I recognize (Elana Johnson, Macie St James, Rachel Bloome). If you read the top of the page, it shows how to drill by word, so I think you could do Christian to find, but I'm not at my computer.
EDITED: I sat down at my computer and used the CTRL F and it found about 10 CF, It didn't find anything that didn't list it in keywords, so it didn't find the Liz Isaacson book that I know is CF, so definitely didn't find everything.

I got an email from Sara Blackard - with the same information. The list is a long one to get through - and with categories I'm not really interested in like, Urban Fantasy and Paranormal Romance - but I did find a few books to download. (Unfortunately, two of them were books in the middle of a series.)0

I looked through one of the lists while on vacation and hoped to get back to it before it went out but, alas, that didn't happen. I'll check again in December as several of the lists indicated.0

I didn't put it on, either. I just came to put the Denise Weimer book on here, though. It is a really good book. I read it and the next in the series by Lisa Prysock and enjoyed them both.0

Thanks for sharing those books, Kim. The Weimer books looks like one I would enjoy. It could be my imagination, but it seems like a lot more books are available through KU than in the past. Books that I would possibly enjoy reading.0

I use KU a lot! I caught some deals last year and am covered until Dec of '24! I try to read enough from there to pay for the subscription! LOL! Hoopla is a good source for free reads too. I like to listen to books while I work some puzzles when I go to bed so I usually get the audiobooks on Hoopla rather than the e-books. Oh, I don't know if you were here when I mentioned this, Carole, but my dog Jake is going to be in a BARKS AND BEANS book that is coming out on the 11th of this month, SHADE GROWN. The series is by Heather Day Gilbert. She asked for pictures of our dogs and last month told me she'd decided to use Jake in the story! How fun is that!?0

What a wonderful way to honor Jake, Kim! I've heard of naming a character after a reading fan, but a beloved dog is special. I've seen posts where you mentioned that, but didn't know exactly what was going on. You will treasure that book for sure!0

Carole, I'm 58% of the way through, and still no Jake, so I'm sure it's just a little cameo appearance - maybe he'll run in, bite someone's leg and run out! LOL! As a puppy that wasn't hard to believe! Every time that the author mentions the characters x-husband I jump, his name was Jake!
