Monday: More conditioning - it was particularly hard, as I was a bit sore from running up all the stairs at Universal Holywood on Sunday - skipped all escalators, and ran the one between lower and upper.

Wednesday: Skipped *insert sad trombone sound*

In my defense, my daughter's new swim schedule finally caught up to me and made me realize I need to change my schedule. By the time she got done with her training and we ate dinner, it was 9:30 PM, and the gym closes at 10:00. On the same day as my conditioning days, her new team has conditioning as well. And as much as I'd enjoy working out with her, I don't think an old fart like me would fit in too well with a bunch of national level teenage swimmers.

So - I'm shifting my conditioning to Tues/Thu/Sat - which will bring it's own challenges, but we'll give it a shot and see how it goes!

Classes start again tomorrow, but it is my son's birthday party and there is still a lot to do, so I will have to skip it

Thursday: Got back to conditioning last night - first day of the new schedule. All is well again.

@Versicolour - Glad to hear you're back to class - excited to hear how it went!

Saturday: Conditioning at the gym. Weights plus treadmill. Looking forward to class tomorrow. We are at the park until this surge is over... catching funny looks is always fun.

Sunday: Black belt class in the park. Focus was on forms and board breaks - my breaks are getting more confident, and conditioning is definitely paying off. Even my senior form (84 moves of insanity as I like to call it) felt reasonable.
