I had night sweats last night which is not unheard of for me. Feel better getting up early. Glad you got tested Dave.
Not the best night of sleep for me. We are suppose to get a lot of rain on Thursday. We were above flood stage a bit on the wetland trail on Monday by an inch or two on one of the bridges. Should be ok today but probably not tomorrow.

    Good Morning!

Bill, good luck, and congratulations with your new position! I know that this is an organization that you have been working with as a volunteer, and I pray that you find joy in this position.

We are still having computer problems at work, which adds to my frustration. But, I am glad to be at work again, and just plowing through what I can.

We are expecting snow this evening. I am ready for Spring!

    Have a great day!

    Good morning gentlemen.

Yeah. Ready for spring and we're two weeks into official winter. The slush froze overnight, so it's a sheet of ice out there. The silver lining to our COVID testing is that we are staying in until we get results, so there is no need to go out in this mess.

Rita began taking down all our indoor Christmas decorations. Shew sorts and carefully packs everything, which makes putting them up next year a lot easier but makes the task much more tedious this year. I just stay out of the way. I won't be climbing ladders and taking down the outside lights until we are free of snow, ice and torrential rains.

    Mornin'

Back to fog and rain today, but yesterday was a gorgeous, if cold, sunny day. I hiked a longer trail on the mountain, a 3 hour stint, and did fine. Still a tad sore in the hip afterwards, but home PT seems to keep it to a minimum.

Reading about gargling and nose spray with 1% povidone iodine to keep COVID germs at bay. Some Bangladesh studies show it really helps.

    Have a great day everyone.

Just an aside, looking back at 2021. Rita has recorded all our walks and hikes on the kitchen calendar. As she was replacing 2021 with 2022, she added up my mileage on foot. It seems that I walked 1,055 miles in 2021. I need to get her to add up how much I walked with Sassy since I started taking her out in September.

Dave, I wonder if they make pedometers for dogs?
