    Good morning gentlemen.

I really didn't expect to kick off the morning this late. Maybe the East Coast and Midwest are weathered in.

Still no response on Rita's COVID test, so we are still staying in. Not very nice out, anyway. We have had almost 6 inches of rain in the last 36 hours. That is just about unheard of here. Just about all the rivers are over their banks. The Deschutes River, which runs through Tumwater, is expected to hit its highest crest since 1964. There are a lot of locally flooded places around, too: low spots that can't drain fast enough. I got a Pizza, last night, and saw a Walmart parking lot that looked like a lake.

The Weather should clear up midday - yay! - so I will take Sassy out for a good walk. She has been suffering a bit of cabin fever the last few days.

    Mornin...

Snowed last night and still flurrying down--maybe 5". Will go for a hike in the forest, or maybe try on the xc-skis. Probably Sunday's expected rain will make a mess of it.

Hope Rita's test is negative, too. My DGD, a college Jr. has apparently caught it from her brother now, who is mostly recovered. He had a very mild case. My town has 160 cases, most ever; Worcester, nearest city, 4000.

I was already on this group awhile, maybe a year or two, when Steve's family tragedy occurred. So '08 or '09? Nice to know you guys, and it is helpful and encouraging to hear some of the things said here.

The conversations have changed over time, and challenges have certainly arisen; it's good to have friends and family, I think it's overall why we are here on earth. I guy I worked with said his doctor told him that, "after 50 your health is a long downward spiral into the toilet". I think it depends on a lot, so keep moving and active so you don't get sucked in!

    Have a good day.

    Good Morning!

Taking a little break at work. Today is going better. Yesterday was in the toilet again. It was after lunch when I noticed yesterday that the payroll was wrong, and the payroll clerk was gone for the day. Payroll had to be loaded by 4:00 for direct deposit. I did the only thing I knew. I deleted the payroll, and entered it from scratch. I finished at 3:45, and everyone is getting paid today. I am getting too old for this carp.

Our temps have been below 10F for a couple of days now. It is supposed to be getting into the 30s today.

    Praying Rita is also negative.

    Have a great day!

I started Weight Watchers in 2008 and started working for them part time May of 2009; boards helped me get to goal; need to get back to tracking and improving diet. I appreciate friendship and support from each and everyone of you on boards, some closer than extended family.
Bob inspired me to get a bicycle and start riding, Lee helped with Roxy and Sunny; Mike's knowledge helped me choose insurance and with a little tinkering can repair many things instead of tossing, Bill inspired me to keep on keeping on even with health issues, Steve inspired me to continue working in accounting till I had benefits and full retirement plus get on Noom where I loss 20 lbs last year; Dave produces really beautiful wood works which got me to setup a shop in basement and show me I could build a murphy bed for DGS
Thanks to each and everyone of you for friendship and knowledge!
Steve, important thing is you caught error, knew how to fix it and got it done timely; I'll give you a pat on back whether anyone else does or not.
Bill, how's it feel going back to work?
Doctor's office just called, biopsies came back clear should feel better in a few more days where stomach lining was irritated with biopsy.
    Cold but sunny here
Tampa, FL tomorrow just down and back to complete paperwork for trike; paying them to deliver to Madison. I'm a fair weather rider; my arthritis does not like cold, rain and night
