Perfection is a mirage, and chasing it only leads to frustration.
Rather than chasing perfection, choose to chase progress:

"Today, I want to be":
  • A little stronger today than I was yesterday
  • A little more disciplined
  • Just a bit faster
  • More flexible
  • Having smoother execution of my highest form
  • Kicking a little higher
  • More focused on my goals instead of other people's opinions

"To achieve this progress, today I will":

  • Practice basics, focusing on kicking height and proper execution.
  • Stretch.
  • Monitor my food intake
  • Practice combinations of my highest form, focusing on transitions from one move to the next
