Anyone out there training for a Marathon??

Hey
I'd love to meet some people who are training for a marathon and also trying to lose a few lbs to enhance their training and help them feel good
I'm currently training for Dublin marathon at the end of October. I'm starting to get into big miles and finding it tough but I'm very determined that I'm going to be in top physical shape for it.
Also do any runners out there combine running with weights/core strength and how often do you recommend doing that in your week. I'm currently doing 4 runs a week. One interval, two moderate, short runs and one slower longer run.
