Today is "welcome home" day!
We couldn't be more ready. DW has burned the stripe of the AMEX and Tucker arrives to crates; plush beds; leashes; and wardrobe of more plaid and sherpa lined coats/jackets than I got!
Hoping 4p is the window....
Looking forward to a sidekick to join me in SBUX window drive thru!

Tucker is inbound and the playoff picture is completely messed up!
I'm trying to keep my shït together, but I'm starting to lose this fight.
I don't understand why they had to dry out flooring to remove it and then repeat with the concrete underneath. I don't understand why all these fans are still running a week after the flood. don't understand how the remediation company can give me a contract to sign without specifying the amount I'm on the hook for. I don't understand why nobody can give me a useful ballpark about timing of restoration. I don't understand why contractors can't at least call back and say "függoff, I'm swamped" when I'm trying to get bids. And I don't understand why Cecilia wanted the new hotel to be right across from the mall.
Okay. That last one is pretty obvious.
Contractor walk on floor replacement bid tomorrow. Adjuster adjusts on Tuesday. True demo work may begin as early as Thursday, but more likely next week. Fans aren't removed until at least tomorrow, so we're burning another week - this time at Home2 across from the aforementioned mall.0 -
Were still in awe over that Packer game. Nice evening with ds2 ddil and Maddie dog though. I love that dog so much.
Ds2 helped to move my dreadmill into the great room. Now I must get some steps in daily. With working at home it is important that I get a move on too.

Lou, I would tell insurance company to handle; dealing with contractors is a major hassle and want you back in condo as quick as possible so they do not have to continue paying for hotel and per diem.
