Setting my intention early worked on Saturday and set the tone for my day. So I’m going for it again ✔️✔️✔️. If I miss the mark/ I’ll come back the next day and say so.

Logging food and drink is such a challenge. 🤦🏾‍♀️

What a terrific post @makattack220 ! I turned 60 this year, and during my lifetime, I have also had to adjust my mindset quite a few times. I've learned over the years not to dwell on negativity - it doesn't do any good..... and it only brings ME down! ;)

Whenever I begin to feel "out of sorts", I find that spending time in prayer and reading my Bible helps me to feel grounded again.

    ✅✅✅. 2/3 pass days used.

I have many of the same thoughts others have stated I am 58 years young but I too have had to change how I look and think about things. I have decided that I will work on me I will help you get there also but I can not do it for you. You need to want to be healthy as much as I do perhaps even more. If I could go back in time I would do many things differently but I know one can’t go back but I can move forward.

My mindset is really important to whether I am losing, maintaining, or gaining weight. The trick has been changing it when I have felt like I am just crawling to get by. Thus my episodes of 75+ pound weight loss and later regain. A year ago I made the choice to retire because I did not feel good and my mindset was ¨who wants to live longer anyway?¨ I am so glad not to be in the crawling to get by phase at the moment, but to be increasingly enjoying my new hobbies related to real food, fermented food, health, and gardening. I feel somewhat confident in my ability to lose weight, but still working on figuring out what will allow me to maintain for more than 4 years and how to more quickly get back in the growth mindset when I am not there.
