Workout Advice

With having a desk job, my life has gotten even more sedentary than ever! But, I have always remembered SparkGuy from Sparkpeople saying to do just 10 minutes a day to see the difference.

My legs and arms are fine. However, I have over-production of cortisol which is a stress hormone that goes straight to the belly, causing the worst fat... belly fat.

Well, I have taken matters into my own hands.

I found this YouTube video of motivational music and got up last night from my chair and did in-door walking in my office. I felt wonderful.

I look forward to finding even more walking music so as not to get bored.

Whether you walk indoors or outdoors for 20 minutes equals 2,000 steps! This is good to know if you do not own a fancy watch or pedometer. I have a pedometer worth junk, so I set a dollar store timer when exercising indoors.

While I was a team leader on Sparkpeople.com, a fellow SP member told me about podrunner. Such website is nothing other than music with motivational, inspirational and feel good beats and tempo. Choose how fast you want to go. I use podrunner to pedal. But you can use podrunner for any exercise.
I think you would really like podrunner.

    The URL follows:

Yes, we need to sit on our butts to work, but do not forget to get off of that butt and exercise if you can! Tie up those shoes for those who can't!
