as I was scrolling through some old pics earlier today, I came across one of me from 2012 when I was at my highest weight - 225. So I thought it might be fun to either share some progress photos or, for those that can't upload a photo because of the MFP glitches, you could always just tell us something about your weight loss journey or progress.
The pic on the right was taken a few months ago when I was around 175 or so. I'm putting the photo in a spoiler as I don't want to see pics of me this large! Ha!

@snowshoe072 asked me the other day how many miles I cycle. An interesting question which I have investigated. My bike has an odometer so I can tell you I have now completed 1,268 miles since I bought this bike in July 2021. This averages out at 5 miles a day. But if I deduct the days when I was away from home – holidays, days out etc – and a few days in winter when the weather was really too dangerous it comes out as about 6 miles a day.
I often only do about 30 minutes (just under 5 miles), and I rarely go out for over 60 minutes. I live on the edge of a small country town so my rides are either in the countryside – hilly, narrow, twisty roads stopping for farm vehicles and trucks – or in the town where traffic is more of a problem. The town centre (and the shops) is a scant mile from my home and when the weather is bad, I have been known to just pop down there and back.

Did I exercise for at least 20 minutes? yes - a rest day from running but I got out and walked for 30 min at work this morning and then another 20 outside this afternoon.

3 pass days so my motivation to keep it together this evening is to start April off right and be in the winners' circle. Also better than the previous 2 months so perhaps April will continue to improve.6 -

Thanks @lesdarts180 i was just curious. I am hoping to ride my mt bike more this summer our village is on the base of a mountain just shy of one of the Adirondack 46er’s so I probably won’t ride up by bike but have come down the mountain on my motorcycle such a beautiful view. I do have the luxury of riding in the village and some trails down the street.
Spent 41 minutes walking today my boss and I took a lunch time walk on the track at the fair grounds managed just under 2 miles felt so nice now we are watching for snow again. Tracked and logged.3 -

Proud of my progress on meditation and water habits. Last month was a good foundation but I feel like I've really locked these two habits in this month and am ready for a new one or two in April. Currently reading Atomic Habits and taking the James Clear 30 day e-course and have some good ideas!4 -

I've a flight tomorrow to go meet some friends for a few days of wine tasting. I will do my best to stay within my maintenance calories but unless I can get a decent amount of exercise in I'm not sure how successful I'll be. I'll be logging via the app (I normally use the web version) but may have to catch up my posts when I get back. I need a week of relaxation and don't want to feel any (self imposed) pressure to keep up.5 -
I ended the month with two pass days. My trainer is on annual leave, it snowed, and practice wedding cake in the house: the trifecta of poor dieting.4

@Mrs_Hoffer Thank you for your pondering if it’s sciatica- I did some googling- sounds like the performed muscle but I don’t have shooting or any pain in lower back or down the leg.
Caused by, among other things, repetitive motions such as WALKiNG. Geese!
And SITTING what!!!
People with oerformis muscle pulls often feel best when laying flat on back…TRUE but but but I need to walk…
Will message my doctor. I am not gaining my weight back because of this.
