    Mornin' gents.

It is a glorious day here. Wow. If I didn't have so many things to do, I would be getting a line wet.
Smoking a 6lb brisket flat that was gifted to me. I was thinking it would be an 8 hour cook, but it is going a bit faster than that. That's OK, it will just have time to rest longer.

    Be OP ;-)

    Good morning gentlemen.

Well, winter is officially over. Of course, it has been in much of the country for several weeks. Our flowering cherry trees are starting to bloom. Wish we had more spring-like temperatures, though. It's 35 outside this morning and the high will barely top 50.

I accomplished nothing, yesterday. Watched some basketball (Ducks men's and women's teams both lost, Gonzaga won), and read a book. Kind of nice to just be lazy, for once. I did make a big pot of white-bean, chicken chili for supper. It was very good. More for supper tonight, maybe with some corn bread.

Sorry about the ducks men and women. It's too bad the ducks didn't have more opportunity to win it all when they had Sabrina Ionescu and all the rest. I was privileged to watch her play in Eugene.
My DW roots for Wisconsin which won played rather uninspired for much of the game. They would be no match for Gonzaga.

    Spring abounds!!

    Good Morning

Yesterday was pure relaxation with DW. We caught the early matinee and saw 'The Outfit' which I recommend. It is a very well-crafted and acted film. Enjoyed my favorite DIPA and not exactly on-plan food. The only place I ever have a beer anymore is at the Cinema/Pub. My wife had Trader Joe's munchies for dinner so it was a pretty relaxing evening. Today we will need to get out and do something more active. I am thinking a walk and picnic somewhere by the water.

6lb brisket.....I need to upgrade my friends

    Good afternoon men.

Spent the afternoon tuning DD’s piano… only made it through the first 100 strings or so. About halfway there.

In church this morning nobody except me and a few others were wearing masks, and the choir was back in action after two years, a good sign hopefully. And after a rainy, foggy, chilly day yesterday, the sun is out again. I can see buds swelling on the maple tree outside my balcony.

    Happy spring everyone!
