    Good morning gentlemen.

    Looking at a day of small tasks around the house: washing the car, trimming some grass, etc. Choir practice tonight.

    I got January closed yesterday and I am working on February today. Starting to gain traction.

    We are in our fourth day of rain. Only 36 more to go....

    Not much else to report. I am looking forward to sunshine again.

    Rainy here also, and temp is 32º; we could get icy roads, or sleet.

    Paddled upriver yesterday and found the fallen tree. It's in a narrow, fast running bend of the river, probably invisible from upstream till you're on top of it. Hoped to remove it with a block and tackle, but it's a complicated pileup of debris. We explored the shore and there is a nice open field for carrying canoe and gear around the obstruction, and we even met the owner (and her Welsh corgi), and she is okay us with walking through there. I'm looking forward to the 7 mile group trip on Saturday.

    Came across some pictures of when I was slim... need to do some things to get back to that state.
