WII console not syncing to remotes

Hi,
Has anyone ever had an issue where your remotes stop syncing to the Wii console?
I didn't use my Wii yesterday but did the day before and everything was fine.
Today the remotes are synced. I've tried what nintendo suggests but that didn't work either.
Any ideas?

    not sure what you tried but I have shut down the wii and unplugged it and left it for a short while. then plugged it back in and turned it on. i think it somehow resets things.
    Also check the batteries in your remote.
    I have read that there is a button inside the wii to push to sync and then inside the battery cover on the remote there is also a button inside to push to sync.

    Hey Jane - I did unplug everything and then was able to get it to work. Had to resynch the remotes and board but that fixed it.

    Not sure why unplugging it vs just turning it off works but glad it helped. :-)
