Mornin' BBB.
I wonder how old Doc Skippy is today? Hoping the second ballooning has done the trick and he'll be back to eating steak and potatoes.
Truck is Army Green. I will post pics for sure.
Lou is into kink?
Miss my choir days, but not the church drama. Christ the lord is risen is a wonderful hymn, but my fave is the Hallelujah chorus from Handel's Messiah originally written for Easter but now seems to be mostly done on Christmas.
I was telling coworkers about your retirement gig, Steph. Lots of big eyes and "wows". The chatter quieted down for quite a bit afterwards. Wistful thinking of getting away from the daily grind, I'm guessing.

Awwwww. Thank you!
SBUX just tastes "better" when they are free on your birthday! Going down "smooth" - but really haven't tried any food yet - so waiting and hoping....
Busy work day ahead - but celebrating at favorite restaurant(s) Friday night; Saturday night; and Easter Brunch Sunday.
Lou - glad you are back home!
Another WFT scandal. Everyone hopes/wishes the Snyder's would just sell!
Nationals are dipping toe in the pool for a buyer for the Washington Nationals. Hmmmmmm.....
Sunny and 70's today. Might get umbrella out for backyard table and work from there this afternoon. Tuck seems to very much enjoy sunbathing!
Cheers,
Skipper

Good morning BBB Friends.
- Happy Birthday Skipper! Are you thinking about buying the Nationals? They've had 2 wild games with the Braves this week.
- Never knew Handel's Messiah was written for Easter. I can win Church trivia now.
- Still working on the Church internet. Bringing hired help this morning. Cable guy replaced the modem yesterday and it hasn't worked since.
- Emma is going to the Vet today. At her age you never know if it will be a round trip or not.

Good morning and Happy Birthday, Skip!
The arm isn't tied down, but I do have a safety word for the stretches the orthopedist gave me to do.
Summer in Mesa, AZ, Steph? You know it gets hot in Arizona over summer, right?0 -
HAPPY BIRTHDAY SKIP!!!

Good morning BBB crew.
Happy birthday, Skip. Hope the balloon worked this time.
Wet snow mixed with rain and 33 degrees. Not very pleasant. At least they are forecasting dry weather for Easter. We're heading over to DS's after church on Sunday. Rita is making a vegan rhubarb pie (using margarine, rather than butter, since DDIL's mom is vegan.
Shop time, today, with two space heaters running, while I look out the window at the rotten weather.0 -
Happy birthday Skip.
We do know Arizona is hot…we will hike or bike early then hang at the pool. We did the same sit last year except they had a beagle then(RIP Chesstur). Thinking of buying inflatable kayaks or paddle boards…the salt river is nearby.
No new snow but it is COLD here. More forecasted for overnight. Maybe up to 6 inches.

Happy happy Birthday Skipper!! Yes, we hope the latest procedure is a success!. Sounds like your birthday weekend is packed Full! Good times!
Beautiful photo there Steph!
I have a date tonight with my honey to the Riverside theater to see the band Chicago. First post covid live concert in over two years for us! The band holds significant other concert memories for us and also plays one of "our songs" . Should be fun!
Lou, they say no pain no gain. Ouch.
Hope Emma is on her way back home
Rubarb pie is a sure sign of spring!yum
Kelly, hows ds2 in his new house doing?
Whats your Trucks name going to be, Lee? Can't wait to see It!
Sam, whats up in your garden?. My chives and iris are polling up here, thats it so far! Still chilly and winter like more days than not it seems!0 -
Ds2 back out of the house deal. They wouldn’t fix the sewer and he was already in over asking price.
Steph. Gorgeous pic.
I LOVE the hallelujah chorus!!1 -
- Emma made it home. The Vet said she doesn't appear to be in pain and still has an appetite, so she gave her antibiotics and sent her home. We have her for a while longer.
- The internet is back up at church.
