Did I exercise for at least 20 minutes?
Did I stay within my calorie budget for the day?
Did I keep track of everything I ate and drank?

Saturdays are busy days for some of us, and some find it a time for some self care. What is your favourite way to take a break and take care of yourself?

🥰 both those graphics. Thanks @jamcnewman
One has to take care of oneself, in order to be able to take care of others.
Make today one half of a fabulous weekend!2 -
My favorite way to take a break and take care of myself is a combo of going outside and moving my body joyfully. Taking my little dog Morgan out for her daily walk with my husband beside me is such an important part of my daily routine, and I always feel better for it.7

Gone but not forgotten.....
I've been very consistent with my plan but have not been consistently updating in this challenge.
This was a great kickstart though.
Bingo Challenge? Didn't ask for help, but got the rest done. Feeling great.
Looking forward to continuing throughout the year.
Daily walking/yoga, staying below my calories, intermittent fasting has helped me drop 5 lbs.
Best wishes to everyone.5 -
So I am spending the weekend with 2 women I met on a Facebook biking page. We rented an Airbnb and rode bikes together today. Each of our families thought we’d lost our minds “how do you know she isn’t a serial killer” kinds of things. It’s worked out great, we’ve had a blast, and it’s hilarious each time one of us gets a text along the lines of “have your internet friends killed you yet.”

I had the grandkids pick out their dinner. They brought sausage and egg breakfast sandwiches. We then went to play kickball and then came home and ate ice cream floats.
@biketheworld What a fun thing to do. Your story made me laugh.4 -

We’ll watch for your post tomorrow @biketheworld for the full assurance you have not indeed ended up with serial murderers 😂😂😂 I bet you are having a ball! Good for you!
Did quite a bit of baking today as it is quite cool out and I was happy to have the oven running. Some was given to our kind neighbours who have been helping me with gardening advice and sharing extra planting pots, etc. Much of the rest was given to my husband’s symphony colleagues who have big roles to play in tonight’s concert. I really love to bake and especially to give the baking as gifts to others. I am grateful that I am not very tempted to eat it. The more I keep to my daily workouts, the more awareness I have about how long it actually takes to burn off one of those cookies. 😳 And truth be told, I’d rather have a nice glass of wine if there are calories to spare or be spent. 🍷

Exercise: I got up over 11K steps! Some of that was a bike ride, in which my phone thinks every bump in the road is a step - but still a bike ride is exercise even if it's not quite accurate.
I was at my 20th college reunion!
I live in the same town I went to college in so I get to jump in and out. So I ate normally at home, but Thurs, Fri, and Sat were each one meal provided by the college. And those were not normal. I enjoyed the whole experience, and did feel like it was self care (to fit with the weekend theme).
But I did have a headache yesterday and a bit of one still this morning and I am wondering if just eating a lot of bad for me food might be causing headaches? I don't think I have any particular food sensitivities. Or it was just being out in the sun and walking so much yesterday. Or the glass of wine I had on Thurs and Fri nights.
Today is a catch up day, which is another sort of self care. Laundry and work around the house and taking care of kids, etc. And my menu is already planned and pre-tracked so I can get back on track.

Loved the bingo categories! Some of those are on my morning routine checklists (get dressed, brush teeth, move my body, drink water) and some are habits that maybe I should start adding to my routines.3 -
Probably read a book or just veg in front of tv or walk/talk with a friend

No champion or winners circle this month but boy it has been fun. No way I have eaten back my calories but inflammation from eating allergens and eating wrong will be fun to sort out when I get home.4 -
