So many mocktail recipes call for "simple syrup". Stephanie Manley makes it simple with a copycat Starbucks version.
One drink that comes to mind calling for a simple syrup would be Southern Sweet Tea.
Ms. Manley does give simple instruction how to prepare the cool method too, in case you do not feel like boiling water.
Play around online or in cookbooks for drinks that simple syrup would compliment.
