Long night.....not much sleep. Not in pain, but quite uncomfortable and now cranky from lack of sleep..... Should see Doc and get sprung mid-morning.

First HOA Board Meeting tonight for us newly elected3. Optics sorta demand I go - so I will power through.

    I get to enjoy coffee today!!! And hopeful a nap with now SIX MONTHS=Old, Tucker! Missed him yesterday/last night. DW said he was a good boy! But then again, he had a full day at puppy day care yesterday and will return today. Can't beat the socialization and stimulation it provides let alone expend some puppy energy!;

    Cheers,.

    Mornin' BBB

Hope you get a little nap in there somewhere. Glad no pain. When can you have something more than Jello?
Nice day on tap for dog training and then install decked system in the Tundra.
Lou, I've watched my share of youtube DIY vids. Not really my thing to actually star in one.
    Is Kelly still in Florida?
Just saw a report that a US soldier was killed by a sow with cubs near Anchorage on the Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, training area 412. It was near a regional landfill and the 3 soldiers were far off the road while mapping for a training exercise, they stumbled on the sow in a den with her cubs and she exploded on the men, knocking one down and then fatally mauling another. Wondering if that was where Dave was stationed at one time. I also wonder if the men were ready or prepared for a bear encounter. One of them should have had a firearm locked and loaded and at the ready as they ventured off the road.

    Good morning
Still in Florida until Saturday evening. I’m using 50 sunblock over and over and I’m still a little toasty.

We had shrimp out for dinner one night otherwise, I’m cooking 3 squares a day. I love to cook so it’s all good. We will eat out Friday night. We’re drinking out though.

Hope the procedure did the trick and you can consume more than jello.
I agrrr that the pup cup probably gave Tucker the squirts.

I didn’t see about the bear. I do wonder if Dave was there? He’s in Vegas now??

Mary, how are the wedding plans coming?

Dennis, are you logging some miles on that bike?

    Hi to everyone.

Great itinerary Steph!! We will be in Aruba, Bonaire and Caracas in September.

Hot in Indiana all week. High 80’s.

Whenever Ruby barks I whack her on her hind and yell NO. Shuts her up. Ha.

HEY! Glad to hear you are getting some san/sand and surf! Hope you all enjoy the remainder of the week.

Full liquid diet for next week - (pudding, jello and pureed soups the most consistency). After that I can resume "as I feel okay" to introduce anything.

Stumbling into the wild in AK without any protection should be mandatory, you are going to see a bear. Sad to hear it cost a human (and a military member) their life. Tragic.

    Good morning.

How terrible for that soldier. Prayers for his family.

I think the doc said Jell-O Shots were okay, Skip.

We're in the upper 90's for at least the next week with no rain in sight. It's 96 here today, so I'm heading to San Antonio this morning for a donor luncheon so I can get a couple degrees hotter. 🙄

    Good morning BBB Friends.
    • Beautiful weather here now but Austin's 90s are headed our way next week.
    • Stella, Toad and the BMW are headed out today. Too nice not to ride.
    • I hope you get a nap in this afternoon Skip. You can dream about having solid food next week.
    • I guess Kelly and Dave are having fun in the sand. One of them has a beach and the other blinking lights.
    • Enjoy your Truk time Lee.

    Morning BBB

We are sightseeing today. First a lumber mill and museum, then picnic lunch sat lake Alamond. Then we will drive thr scenic loop into Lassen volcanic park. With the snow this week most if it won't be opened before we leave so will have to skip the cinder mound hike :( and the hike to the Lava pots and springs. Expected opening of the road is now early July.

    Speedy recovery Skip.

    Good morning BBB friends.

Hoped the recovery goes smoothly, Skip.

Missing Sassy but having fun. Weather has been too cool for Vegas - low 70s. Should warm up today, to 80, 90s tomorrow.

Sad about the grizzly encounter. I was stationed at Fort Wainwright, 360 miles north of Anchorage. I spent a lot of time in the bush, both on duty and recreationally. I encountered a number of grizzlies never carried a loaded weapon and never felt I needed one. Following safe practices so you see bears early and they also know you are there prevents most issues. If you are beating through heavy brush along a river, you're more likely to have a problem. If they stumbled on a den, it sounds like a case of really bad luck.

Toad had a wonderful ride with Stella and BMW, 225+ miles; good food also and on way back stopped for ice cream. Know it was all Weight Watchers friendly in someone's world.
Only issue is we went down into gnat country and Toad had to be cleaned up.
