🌎️Challenge #6 Saturday, May 14 - Friday, May 20🌎️
✈️DESTINATION - Weifang, China 6,000 Miles - Stretching & Team Spirit
The challenge begins on Saturday morning. Exercise & Stretching & Team Spirit done before SATURDAY DOES NOT COUNT!!!!
We are attending a kite festival in Weifang, the kite capital of the world. Watching our colorful kites stream across the sky is a relaxing, healthy and social outdoor activity. By looking up and far away at our beautiful kites, you will feel calm and peaceful. It is also good for hand-eye coordination, and helps stretch your neck, shoulders and spine to counteract the effects of looking at a computer or phone. And think of the calories you burn while sprinting with your kite!
Allow time to visit the world’s largest kite museum and a kite factory. Interesting fact - in ancient times kites were used to carry lines across streams or gorges as the first step in building bridges.
Have fun! Go fly a kite!
Race - You must exercise to earn air miles to get your team to the destination.
1 minute of exercise = 1 air mile
DAILY MAXIMUM 120 exercise minutes/air miles.

What is the first thing your dog or cat does when it wakes up?
What is the first thing an infant does when he/she wakes up?
If you guessed “stretch”, you are correct. Stretching is so natural, yet we don’t do it often enough. Stretching will increase your flexibility and increase your range of motion.
We hope stretching is already part of your daily exercise. For this week's Challenge make stretching an intentional part of your day. Most experts recommend that people stretch for 10-15 minutes per day. Hold each stretch for 15-30 seconds, repeating one or two more times, depending on how you feel.
Some benefits of stretching.
• Reduce muscle tension
• Increase range of movement in the joints
• Enable your muscles to work most effectively
• Increase circulation of the blood to various parts of the body
• Increase energy levels (resulting from increased circulation)
• Decrease your risk of injuries
• Improve your ability to do daily activities.

Build this healthy forever habit of stretching to prevent injury and keep your body supple - bending and moving easily and gracefully. Keep flexible!
✔️To Score Points
1) 10 minutes of stretching. 10 minutes = 10 points. One point per minute to a daily maximum of 10 points.
2)Team Spirit
2a) For each blog you write, and then post a link in your team chat, score 3 points (daily maximum).
2b) Read 3 blogs and comment, score 3 points total (daily maximum). 3 all or nothing.
2c) For each day you participate in Team Chat, score 5 points (daily maximum)
🏆 Summary
Record all exercise minutes. It's 6,000 Exercise Minutes/Air miles. DAILY MAXIMUM 120 exercise minutes/miles.
Scoring: 1 minute of exercise = 1 air mile
