Sure hope Skip is recovering Nicely!
I'm up and outside already to plant grass seed before my work day starts.
HOAs lawn mow company tells me they sent a letter back in Feb canceling our mowing services . Mail getter treasurer says she got nothing. I'm scrambling to find a new servicer. And the lawn needs cut. Errrr
Truck is all packed for lake weekend, as soon as Works over, we out!

- The joys of HOA management. Good luck with that Mary.
- Good lunch ride yesterday with Toad and Heidi (that's what I'm calling the BMW until it's owner decides) to the Yoder Dietsch Haus. A Mennonite restaurant out in the middle of farm country.
- We have a slight to moderate chance of rain this afternoon which is needed.
- No sign of Skipper this morning. I hope that means he is sleeping in. How was the 1st HOA meeting?
- Steph, what altitude are you at? Sounds really cold for this time of year.
- How was San Antonio Lou? I lived there for 7 weeks. Not a memorable time. Then again I was incarcerated on Lackland AFB.

Having fun in Vegas. Not winning, but not losing much, either. We walked a lot, yesterday. Our friend clocked 35,000 steps on her smart watch - and we walked a couple miles more than she did. Tired feet last night. We have free tickets to an Eric Church concert tonight. Nosebleed seats in T-Mobile Arena, but the price is right. Our friends got seats on the floor and not fat from the stage. I guess they use the free ones to fill in spaces that weren't reserved.
Looking forward to heading home tomorrow. I miss Sassy.0 -

Skip is alive. I truly overdid it - going straight from hospital to a marathon 4 hour HOA meeting. Straight to bed when I got home and just got up (13 straight hours of good sleep). Tucker reminded me with a nose on my nose that he was concerned

Mary - I'm already regretting getting on the HOA. What a bureaucracy! NOBODY interested in actually empowering to do whats right without "check with legal (for a fee of course" - ugh!
Glad Toad et al got a nice ride in yesterday!
Was going to try to work today - but just relaxing. Pool is being opened later today and cleaning teams coming - so waiting on that and climbing back into bed. Tucker is sitting in between my legs now and NOT letting me out of sight.
"Texas Tom Jones" - hard pass. But enjoy! 😂😂😂

Lumber mill was super interesting. Got a personal tour from the grandson of the original founder.
We are at 5000 ft. Snow is late but not unheard of this late. Severe drought so locals are super happy. In the Lassen Volcanic Park we saw snow drifts as high as the visitor center.0 -
Stop in Fort Worth at the stockade tour attraction Lou. You can watch them cowboys bring the steers through town....0

Thats a lotta walking, Dave. For the mountain hiker to say his dogs are tired, that saying something.
Next weekend is a big trial (local!-yay!) and we is taking the summer off.
Got my decked system in...I take a photo this weekend. Glad I did it myself, not an easy install, but I know it was done right.
Sounds like the stress levels are rising with the HOA peeps. Necessary evil.
13 hrs is a good sleep. Hopes you is feeling better as a result.
