    G'Morning~

Mary - sorry, you and Tom had to do the dirty work! After less than 3 months - I've already grown tired of the nuisance being on the HOA produces. Not sure what is worse though - the repetitive complaints from residents or the cunning school yard politics among our board/committees and paid staff. Ugh.

Sunny; Hot; 90s forecasted for next few days. Hoping to get some good pool time in. Tucker is still not seeing the pool as a "fun space." Trainer comes tomorrow and I am hopeful he'll be able to assist with getting him more comfortable.

    C'mon weekend!

Quite a nail biter between Braves/Brews yesterday! Wowza.

    Mornin' BBB

No comment on HOA. Politics are not in my wheelhouse. But I do like watching or hearing about all the machinations.
Dog training today in the rain.

    Good morning BBB friends.

I spent five years dealing with HOA issues. Never again.

    Good morning.

I've been an HOA president. It sucks. But I didn't trust anyone else to actually be a good steward for the association. Every association we've lived in has been full of old people that will invest in landscaping, but not tuckpointing. They'll paint the shutters, but not schedule preventative maintenance on systems.

Case in point - going 10 years between inspections of 50+ y/o cast iron pipes...

    Good morning

I'm meeting a 3rd landscape contractor at 11a but pretty sure I'm giving the job to No. 2. A young guy with his own LLC and crew that is reasonably priced, has a good attitude and wants a long term relationship not just this year. He will also do more than just the grass cutting if needed, i.e. tree trimming, pond bank weed cut back etc.

I see the Brewers rallied the Braves.

Should warm up from 60F now to 80F later.

I have flower pots to plant, almost done with my porch, in about $200, a bit more than I usually spend but prices are Up in the garden, like everything.

Tom is helping ds2 with an electrical outlet not working at his house tonite. Ds2 is going to smoke some chicken in his new Master grill smoker for us.

I think we are staying home from lake this weekend to move these wood chips to the berm and side yard here. You likely saw the mound on my face page.

Hope Tuc decides he likes the Pool!

    Happy dog training day

You all have a nice day

    Good Morning,
Emmaus breakfast this morning then done early voting
DW going to keep DGS tonight so I have DMIL duty till DW returns tomorrow
Early in morning they will start roof tear off, could hear them this morning about 6:20 at house on corner, can't blame them with temps going into 90's they want to finish as early as possible.
HOA's are a thankless job; just remember "no good deed goes unpunished"
I'm sure Tucker will adjust and enjoy pool with hot temps coming
Enjoy training girls Lee, if you had sent rain this way I would not have to be watering and it would not be bothering you.
Mary, that is one large load of chips

    Good morning BBB friends.
. Up too darn early cooking for UMM breakfast at church.
. Back again working on the church internet. Actually I'm jumping thru the required hoops to convince the ISP we have a problem.
. Home a/c working today after a couple of hundred $ worth of refrigerant. Fix may be short term.
. I like Lou's term, a good steward for the association.

    Morning BBB

Cooler today but still heading out for a ride. We found a nice loop of 17 ish miles yesterday that was mostly rideable and beautiful. I expect we will repeat today. Saw bear prints along that loop. If we see him I hope it’s in the distance.

Never been part of an HOA, nor do I ever want to be in one. I hate all the bitching and moaning amongst people.

Ds2 will be moving out soon. Offered accepted on a house, not in an HOA. Closing is next Friday.

Ds1 is coming home for the weekend. The house is a wreck. Oh well. He will feel right at home. Ha.

Too much going on in my life to dust, sweep, mop and clean the bathrooms every day. Right now, once a week is all I’ve got in me.

Girls night tonight. Im pre gaming for girls night. Does that tell you about my week?! Ha.

Oh. Henry likes to sit on the step in the pool to cool off. Ruby Sue will go no where near the pool.
