Good morning gentlemen.
It's going to be a rare, beautiful day in Tumwater, with a high near 70. I have a cleanup party at church to attend. I also need to mow our own lawn. No fun and games today.0 -
Good Morning
Congestion has me up early watching my recording of the Warriors game last night while I wait for the cold meds to kick in. Headcold is in full effect which didn't pair well with my CPAP nasal cushion mask. Heather and I had a date night for a bit of dinner and to see Symphonic Band Concert a couple of towns away, which was very good. I will be taking it easy today since my back is being fiesty. I have some writing to do anyway.0 -
Got out for an early hike this morning, before the heat arrives. Only 62° when I started, heat index supposed to hit 99° this afternoon!!? That’s crazy.
Put my canoe in the water yesterday to explore a new pond—really a mile-long dammed up part of a river. Was too windy to stay long, paddling alone in a 17’ canoe. Going against the wind, the only way to manage is to kneel midway and paddle hard, which is rough on the knees, and gets crampy after awhile.
Other than icefishing, I haven’t fished in a few years. Should get the pole out and maybe even the flyfishing waders. The State stocks rainbow trout regularly in spring and fall.
Neighbor who lost his fiancée a few months ago is having people over for sandwiches this afternoon. I’ll stop in and say hello.
Hope peoples pains and aches are a little better today. Have a good day.0 -

Good morning!
Cold and rainy here in Kansas. We could hit a record low tonight.
I started new depression meds today, zoloft. I am really feeling sleepy today. We'll hope that gets better.
Bill, get well soon!
Mike, sound fun, even with the wind.
Have a great day!
