Good morning gentlemen.
Couldn't sleep this morning, so I got up early. Woke Sassy up for a change.
Rain will start this afternoon and stay with us through the weekend. So it goes.
I got out i the shop for a while yesterday and turned several wooden mushrooms from a cherry limb that has been drying in the corner for three years. I sold a bunch of mushrooms during last summer's neighborhood garage sale, so I want to have more on hand, this year. They're good practice to turn and don't take very long.

Good morning!
More rain here, but it is supposed to end this afternoon. We have had too much this round.
Dave, it is good that you were able to get in some shop time.
Some of our young tomatoes are under water at the end of our garden. Sigh....
Connie is speaking for MADD tonight in Kansas City, Kansas.
Collin seemed to do well on his first day of his new job yesterday. They worked him hard.
I am looking forward to a long weekend.
Have a great day!0 -
Mornin' gents.
Glorious day on tap. Haircut and new glasses frames scheduled. Old frame busted when I dropped them and then stepped on them out dog training.
Prayers for Connie tonight.
Ha! So true, Dave. Its seems like its a battle to keep moving at this point, for me anyway. I will say, I'm feeling as good these last couple of weeks as I have in a very long time. Not sure why. Haven't really changed much.
Getting retractable bed step installed right now. Up to now, I've been carrying a folding step ladder to help me get in and out of the truck.
Be OP ;-)

Good Morning,
Rainy day but sunny next 9 days; temps upper 80's low 90's
After losing glasses I took my prescription and ordered a pair of progressive lenes glasses from Zennie, like better than ones made by optometrist at a quarter of the cost.
DMIL is going to spend week and half with niece, "Oh happy day"
Thanks Mike for reply on garden, I'm going to give a try this year
Know Connie will reach a few tonight; appreciate what you and Connie does in trying to save lives and families.0 -
Good Morning
Our temps have dropped back into the 70s for the next few days. Yesterday was ugly hot. The closest we get to rain now is watching Connie's video of the rain yesterday on FB. We did enjoy hearing the sound of rain though. The nice weekend ahead will offer us an opportunity to get out in the garden and clean it up over a couple of days without killing ourselves. I am finally past the worst of this cold and am breathing much better and no longer taking any cold meds. Of course, this means I am out of excuses for not doing work around the house but I will survive. I too believe that what Connie does have an impact. Sometimes the words and images need time to take root in the hearts of others and effect a changed life.0
