    TGIF. Happy belated birthday, Ron.

    Heart hurts for state of affairs in our country. Not sure where it ends.

    DBIL & SIL coming tonight to stay with us for weekend. Unannounced. Uninvited. This should go well. 😡

    Laid off from one university who is ceasing one of the programs I teach. Sad.

    Cool here but sunny for now. Rain to come in this weekend . Hopeful to get my guy to stain the deck floor boards before rain tomorrow.

    Not much on tap ...going to just enjoy the weekend at the home front.

    • Belated happy birthday Ron.
    • Mary, there is something to be said for living in the sticks and turning off the TV news.
    • There is no need to worry about BBB not contributing to the needed 2.4 heads per couple. Open borders will compensate for our shortcomings. Now if we can only get the new arrivals to pay their taxes.
    • Skip, if you were teaching government concepts as outlined by the constitution, I understand why the program was cancelled. BTW, good luck this weekend.

    Bummer Skip. You should engineer a layoff from FT and retire.

    Headed south today to see the Humboldt redwoods. Might rain so hauling raincoats etc, Definitely honing yo rain tomorrow so looking for an indoor activity.
