G'Morning~
I have really gotten spoiled w/ no commute. Total blocked road at 6a for crash; two miles later I nearly hit a deer. Yep - I need a beer and its only 7a.
Hope Doc found some good fare and is comfortable at Ikea Flat!
Hopeful for some pool time later.

I like your chances in a Wagoneer vs a deer, Skip. You could be eating Venison all Summer.
Kelly - there comes a point when it's worth it to pay the guy to do things. Painting an exterior is one of those times IMO.0 -

Hitting a deer can do some serious damage to your car, as well as the deer. I don't miss commuting at all.
I haven't painted anything more extensive than the railings on our porch and deck in many years and have no plans to do so in the future. Our interior is all the builder's white. Not stylish, but we're used to it. We want to completely change the colors on the exterior of the house, including the gutters and downspouts but for that we will definitely call the guy.
DW has yardwork on my docket for the day. My friend got hung up at work, yesterday, so I don't know when he will want my help removing his tree.0 -
Good Morning,
Yesterday DW took DMIL to Walmart, as they were leaving DMIL fell tore a large patch of skin off arm hen egg on forehead and fractured pelvis; she will be hospital and then rehab for at least three weeks.
Guess I'll have to go see her today.
Cloudy today rain not predicted to start till early tomorrow morning,

Good morning BBB Friends.
- Started the day with my Emmaus group. Always a good thing.
- I don't miss the commute. I thought I had retired the alarm clock, but it still goes off way too often.
- They guy painted my villa last year. Yeh, I don't miss that either.
- Lisa is marrying off DD#3. It is good to see her doing well. I remember when life was a little 'fuzzy' for her.
- Started to pack up for the Boys State trip.

Well wishes to DMIL
After our spring in the woods/lake this little town is noisy. We are on a secondary thoroughfare with way more traffic noise than I expected from the reviews. Add that to barking dogs, fire station blocks away and a guy mowing until 9:30 last night. I’m ready to move on. Glad we are only here a week.
Headed north today to check out more redwoods and scenic beaches. Northern California is certainly beautiful.

Yikes, Sam! Sorry to hear about DMIL!
I occasionally have requirement to go to our continuity site - which is not far away from me (25 miles) - but its a two lane through many towns event that inevitably takes up to an hour to traverse! Compounded with any fender bender.

4th infusion is in and I'm heading out out hospital back home. I still have half a tank of cheap under $4/gallon gas in my Escape.

Did the British Museum and Westminster Abbey on Monday. Today, actually yesterday, did The Tower...built by William the Conqueror on the ancient Londinium site.
Most of the food has been at my brother's flat. We eaten out a couple of times, once Italian and once French. Best meals were at my brother's.
Very little beer, mostly wine and gin.
