* Who doesn't eat fish and chips with a pint of Guinness while in London? Sounds like you are having a great trip, Doc! Well-deserved. How are the pups back home handling your extended time away?
* Wait, designer? Are they telling you what to do or did you also hire a painter too? I agree w/ Lou. At my age - its just worth hiring "the guy."
* Sam - how's DMIL? Moreover, how is DW doing amid this chaos and noise?
* Mary - hope the treatments/infusions have been helping. What happens after the trial suspends?
* Passed our annual VFW Budget last night. If I didn't know better, I'd swear some of our leadership works for our HOA. $4M budget for a small VFW is egregious!
* Hoping for pool time today - but afternoon rains threaten that activity.

Good morning BBB friends.
Praying for my 98-year-old mother this morning. She has tested positive for Covid. So far, her symptoms are quite mild - a runny nose and feeling tired - but she is pretty frail, so we are worried. My sister is keeping a close eye on her.
Spent the morning digging out a couple of stumps for Rita. Oddly satisfying to get really dirty. Still a bit of little boy still in me, I guess. My arthritic fingers ache this morning, though.
Used to fly into Austin on small Frontier Airlines planes - so small there was no first class, so the Wealthy sat with us riffraff. I sat next to Linda Johnson, daughter of the former president, on the flight from Denver. In the terminal, she was met by her mother, and introduced me to her. That is how Sgt. Kuhns met the very gracious Lady Bird Johnson. The airport in Austin now bears very little resemblance to that from more than 40 years ago, I imagine.0 -

The trial ends for me after the 8th infusion. I've had 4 as of yesterday with no measurable retraction, yet. I feel like there's some dry eye improvement but the furnace is off so....that helps.

Did several shorter hikes near the coast yesterday.. today headed to fern canyon. Have 8am reservations so need to get moving.

DMIL is doing as good as possible, hospital does not want to start therapy till she is seen by orthopedic which our small hospital does not have; none of surrounding hospitals will take her. Did get her up in chair this morning.

. Started the morning with a breakfast ride.
. Came home and packed for my trip.
. Then took DW to see Top Gun.
