Introducing myself

Just saw this new group and impulsively decided to join as just this week I set myself the goal of improving my hydration. I have recently read ¨Atomic Habits¨ and now ¨Target 100¨ both of which emphasize ways of building healthy habits. Target 100 makes the best case I have ever read for why hydration is more important for weight loss than hardly anyone gives it credit for.
I have established some habits when I first get up and am going to use the habit loop technique, using my daily wake up routine and weigh in as the cue to go to the kitchen, drink 16 ounces of water and then set a timer for my next water break. At each water break I reset the timer. That part all worked really well today, my first day of this plan. Remembering to record my water happened about half the time.
Anyway-- hope this turns into a functional group because it is very timely for me. I am in three other groups and had not planned to join anymore but this sounds like it does not have overwhelming expectations for participation.
