    Morning~

    10 full days without SBUX. I think I'm over the hump so to say. Keurig is doing me fine.

    Long day ahead - but hopeful to relax tonight with DW and some friends who's son returns to school tomorrow (Texas) working the summer as an incoming tour ambassador.

    Hope DMIL is getting some rest (sans restraints😂), Sam. Hows your Mom improving, SGM?

    Having a skinny vanilla latte on a park bench in Edinburgh. The Scottish venti is the size of a grande in the US.

    Circus themed dinner party tonight. Rehersal dinner was last night. Serious fillet, T-bone, and ribeye was served family style. Good eats.

    I'm on my second 12 oz. cup of home-ground Columbian. Don't know where that stands on the grande-venti scale. Probably have at least one more before I start my day.

    Having fun turning a small vase from a piece of black locust burl I got a couple years ago. The wood is really dry and really hard, with stunning figure in the grain. I'll start hollowing it today.

    Taking DS and family to Texas Roadhouse tonight. DS really likes the place and the only one in this area is on Fort Lewis, so only access is with an ID card holder.

    Supposed to rain here and there Sat and Sun. So why not not go there anyway. To the lake that is. So we will. DF will stain the gazebo floor. Then the work there is done for summer. May get a quote on a metal shed roof. But hiring that out, if we do it.

    Short work day Friday for me. Like now. Lol. I'm going to cut out early and do some errands, visit a garage sale or 2 etc.

    We will drive up 101 today until it makes sense to cut over to Portland. I sure hope our Airbnb is quieter. Host did message me that he is doing some landscaping and siding work on his unit which is attached to ours. 🫤

    Weaning self from Starbucks is good, especially since they keep raising their prices and closing stores that vote to go union. I'm not a union person but thought Starbucks believed in taking care of employees.
    DMIL has started therapy, wish they would give her mental therapy also.
