Good morning BBB friends.
My mom seems to be fine, Skip.
Sassy came into heat yesterday. We are keeping her in the kitchen, where the hardwood floor is easy to clean. We bought some doggy diapers for her to wear in the evening and at night, when she is with us in carpeted parts of the house. It was quite a comedy routine getting a diaper on a squirming golden retriever who didn't want any part of wearing that thing.
We'll be leaving Sassy alone in the kitchen for quite a while, today. We are attending a celebration of life for our DDIL's grandfather, who passed away last fall. The event is about a two-hour drive north of here. We're riding up with DS and DDIL. If Sassy has an accident while we are gone, she will be humiliated, but there will be no lasting harm. Once again, the floors are easy to clean.0 -
Good morning BBB Friends.
- Getting the office set up at Gordon State College. Still quiet here. That will change soon.
- Sat in on a celebration of life for Col. Frank McLeod yesterday. A good friend who passed away about 6 weeks ago. It was at our old American Legion Post in Smyrna. DW drove back for it and me and another local member viewed it from a video stream.
- Big day in MI for Lisa's youngest. Looking forward to the pictures.

Morning all
Long drive yesterday as we took the coast road instead of interstate. Rained the last couple of hours. Our apartment is cute and much quieter. It’s right in an up and coming neighborhood which I love. Ron prefers country so he is a little grumpy, but we just spent 3 months in the country so 1 week won’t kill him.
Today taking the metro to see some dragon boat races. Probably will get wet as rain is forecasted.0 -

Started early this morning, helping setup for charity ride; 2 y.o. liver cancer trying to raise money to help family, Did not get turnout we wanted but every bit helps

DMIL called DW and ask her to come take her to toilet, DW told her to call nurse, DMIL called back and wanted DW to give her the nurse's phone number. DW explained she had a button on side of bed to push for nurse. Then DMIL called a few minutes later wanting to know where she was. Of course by now she had peed in here diaper, which over flowed; 4 sets of clothes messed up today.
Glad DM is better Dave.
