    Good morning gentlemen.

Woke up at 3 and couldn't get back to sleep, so here I am now, at 4:21, coffee in hand, and greeting the day online. Sassy was so tired she didn't get up when I did. She's still sleeping upstairs. She spent so much time playing with the kids that she was just beat.

Going to be another 90-degree day, today. Drops 20 degrees for a high tomorrow. I kind of like the heat, but I'm glad we are among the minority up here that have AC. Sassy gets pretty hot - as you'd expect. Don't think I'll take her for a walk, today.

    Mornin' gents.

Cooling off with some thunderstorms this am.
AC is nice to have when it gets above 85 degrees. Otherwise open windows and fans seem to do the trick at our spot in NW CT.
Tried tapering off prednisone, but I still seem to need it. I was on 1mg daily but noticed more fatigue and edema (especially in my lower legs and feet). I've been on 2.5mg pred daily for about 3 days and have seen improvement in the edema. As Sam has said many times, these conditions need constant tweaking and multi modal therapy. I am supposed to see the Rheum Doc in 2 months to evaluate the new biologic Skyrizi. At this point, I am not sure the Skyrizi is any better than the Enbrel.
Love that Sassy and the grandkids and grandma had such a good time.

    Be OP ;-)

    Good Morning,
Back from vacation, now got to get into routine, yoga class this morning and already heard from 3 that will not be there; seems COVID has sprung up.
Need to catch-up on boards, will check back later.

    Good Morning

Our A/C is scheduled to be repaired this afternoon unless there is a parts issue. The weather is beginning to cool off now. We should be in the low 90s today finally. Temps have dropped in the evening so the first floor is nice and cool. With all the fans and open windows, we could use our A/C quite a bit less if it wasn't for the second floor. It is more than warm up there with no A/C. Just picking things up and doing some cleaning today while I wait for the repair guy this afternoon. I will fire up the Weber for grilling tri-tip this afternoon.

    Good morning!

For some weird reason, our temps are expected to stay in the 70s today. No worries, they will be back in the 90s by Wednesday. We absolutely cannot do without A/C here. Bill, I hope that yours does get fixed today.

I worked my old body hard yesterday with many projects. I am paying for it today.

Lee, I have a MD appointment on Friday to go over why I am so sleepy, and tired most days. I still think that it could be from COVID, but I have no idea. I just know that I am tired of being tired all of the time. I hope that I don't have to continue to live this way long term. I cleaned a bathroom exhaust fan yesterday, did laundry, mowed the yard, week whacked, and weeded in the garden. Yes, I know that is a lot of work, but still, it should not kick my rear as hard has it has. I also smoked burgers on the Traeger last night. They were awesome!

Jessika has returned to the office today from being out all last week with COVID. I will wear a mask around her, and she is also wearing a mask. I am glad, however, to have her back. She is my primary assistant.

    Have a great day!

Let me understand Lee goes fishing and has shrimp for supper, either did not catch anything or threw back so he would not have to clean. Even not liking air conditioning would have to have a small window unit in bedroom for high humidity and what few hot days you have.
Bill, hope air gets fixed this afternoon
Glad your assistant is back Steve with closeout at end of week; hoping for a quick catch-up
Grand kids can be so much fun till they become teens, my DGK's found something to pick about at least daily. Vacation was great but had too much family, 14 of us, thankfully weather was nice so everyone could spread out on beach.
Did I not pay enough attention or is Bob missing in action?

Good evening. Missed checking in yesterday.

Lee, that’s a fast wee boat you got there!

A cool day overall here, some heavy rain too. Clearing now. I got in a late hike this afternoon, explored some old mill ruins along a river and found a new trail. I will go for a hike again first thing early tomorrow morning while it’s cool.

Sam, good to have you back. How’s DMIL doing. Steve, hope your doctor visit goes well and they figure out what’s going on. Bob, it’s too hot there for me — hope your air conditioning gets fixed. Dave, they always try to get me on the slip and slide… no thanks.

Have a good rest of the day.
