Good morning BBB friends.
Hope all had a happy 4th. Lots of fireworks here last night, both from the public display a few miles away and from those in the neighborhood who think the law doesn't apply to them. Sassy was highly curious and excited about the noise - not frightened or nervous in the least. She is really like a little kid, sometimes.
I am heading out the door for another hike in the Olympics.0 -

I was thinking the same, Skip. It seems that Sam's DMIL may have reached the point where I'd throw in the towel.
I got to live vicariously on FB through my friend who went to Willie Nelson yesterday with our tickets. We wouldn't have known any of the other acts, so I suppose it's not terrible that I wasn't there in long sleeves with 100° weather waiting on Willie who didn't take the stage until 930...0 -
Amazing what some come up with and attention they put into a parade; our parade was not that elaborate.
When nature called this morning at 3, DMIL had every light on downstairs, now she is sound asleep, DW took her coffee down and just left on table.
Continues HOT and HUMID.
Happy Birthday Kris, hope she has a great lunch and very successful shopping trip.

Happy Belated 4th! We took our boat to a neighboring lake for the entire day.
Then went to the golf course club house for dinner last night and spent $140 on epic fail. All 5 meals were sub par. Waste of money.
Birthday wishes for a wonderful day to Kris. I'm sure Dennis will spoil her!

Rained last night and the fog is dense this morning. Everything is damp, ugghh. I'm going to run air-conditioning soon just to get the humidity out of the glamper! Its only 71F.
I started Valarie Bertinelli's new book. Interesting so far... she was married to Eddie Van Halen, who recently died of cancer. They share adult son, musician Wolfgang Van Halen...
I hope my week of vacation drags!

Morning bbb
We are taking the day off from biking/ hiking. The exterminator is coming to day to spray and we need to tell him about a rodent living near the pool pump. Don’t have a time so we just decided to stay home. Might go for a walk around the neighborhood this evening. It doesn’t really cool off but without the sun beating on you 100 isn’t terrible.
Goal today is to make a spreadsheet of all of our credit cards and make sure I know the benefits of all and which one to use where. Plus double check I have all stored in LastPass with their phone numbers etc. I think we have the right ones for international travel but just want to make sure. Plus need to decide if we are renewing Costco membership that will com due this fall.0 -

Subpar food out is always disappointing. Especially when paying $30 plate. I've found that club food, no matter what kind of club, is usually disappointing. Even hamburgers and hotdogs.
