Skip, wish we had something like that around here. I would definitely enjoy a good haircut and you might be able to talk me into a pedicure, maybe. BTW, how is your swallowing issue? All good? There has been so much excitement with Tucker, the 'Vette, and now THE MOVE, that I had totally forgotten that you had a pretty serious healthy issue.

Dennis - I'm sure you'd be quite fetching in a blond wig.
To explain - whenever you see a white SUV here, it's driven by women. And Texas has an unusually high number of blond women with big hair - a statistically impossible thing without the aid of Ms. Clairol. The white SUV (usually a Lexus RX or something bigger to haul a pile of kids) is her signature vehicle. It's just a Texas oddity.0 -

You are talking platinum blonde aren't you, I represent that; reason for so many white vehicles in south is a white vehicle is cooler than other colors. Most pickups around here are white also.

My manicure and pedicure are handled with a pocketknife and nail clips, tried a place like Hammer & Nails once; I can say I've been there done that.0 -

It’s 6:30 am and already 93. Today is going to be unbearable. Planning a 20 mile bike ride asap then pool then AC. Need groceries but will see if we can put off until tomorrow when it will be a little cooler.

Swallowing is much improved. 95%.....breads or the like tend to still give me a fit - avoid mostly. That, and much much smaller bites.

Spent 8 of my 24 Army years stationed in Texas. You made me laugh, Lou. It was much the same, back in the day. Bigger hair in the 80s.
I'm with Sam on the pedicure thing. I also use a bit of 120 grit sandpaper to scrape a rough spot on my big toe. LOL0 -
We'll, I am kinda like a bottle blond. Isn't silver a shade of blonde? Now, that I think of it I think DW picked the color but in the deep South white and tan is a smart car choice.
