Do some today. While you don't "need" to stretch all the time it definitely helps in a bazillion ways. Its really an awesome thing to be in the habit of doing about once a week, or more.

It doesn't matter what kind you do as long as you do some. If you don't have any clue about how to go about it, go to the BeFit Youtube channel and search "Beginner Yoga". Or, just follow this link:

I think I may do the P90X Yoga this evening.

    Yay for yoga!

Here is one of my favorite quick, gentle yoga routines. I like that it helps me unwind when I'm tense. And it's only about 15 minutes. :)

Another routine I really like is "Yoga for Beginners with Patricia Walden." I have an old DVD still, but I see that the routine is available for rent by Gaiam on youtube for about $3.00. (Sorry, not free. :frown:) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qriXya3vVEI
Or, there are used DVD copies on amazon that are less that $5.00, including shipping.

Really, though, I have found many awesome free yoga resources on youtube.

Aakx3, what is the P90X yoga like?

P90X yoga is about an hour long and involves a LOT of downward dog to upward dog. Everything seems to start from downward dog.

Did some down dog push ups in Athletic Conditioning, but that's about all I get for yoga. I used to do yoga but I think I had too many bad experiences with the class setting (not with the yoga itself but with things like the old guy on the mats on either side of me doing yoga in baggie shorts or being in a class so packed that you spend half your time trying to position yourself so you don't stick your feet in someone's face and the rest of the time with someone less considerate sticking their feet in yours (home yoga means that I spend how ever long with a kitty trying to knock me over because they think it's play time since momma is on the floor). But I do a lot of stretching because of dancing, usually before dancing but sometimes after too.

Cupcake, have you considered teaching your kittehs yoga so that they can practice with you? They are known to be naturals:

Your post gave me a legitimate reason to search youtube for "cat yoga."

I was entertained for some time.

I did this yesterday and today. I can't believe how far behind I've gotten. :frown:
