    Continues HOT and HUMID this weekend
    DD and DGS came last night, do not know if staying weekend or going home today.

    • Nice motorbike ride to our favorite ice cream shop last night.
    • Braves been slugging it out with the Mets the last two nights. They won one and lost one. Double header on tap today.
    • Raine and Tom ought to be at Sturgis by now. They are smart and brought their motel room with them.

    Forgot it was Saturday until I read the heading.

    Today we will bike a loop or two through the nearby neighborhoods. The road to the river we usually do just gets too busy with tubers and kayakers on the weekends.

    Good morning BBB friends.

    Sassy ate our supper before Rita could cook it, last night (1/2 pound of marinaded beef for stir frying). She was appropriately contrite. Never turn your back when temptation is on the edge of the counter.

    Driving Rita to a casino north of Seattle, today. Haven't been there for years. Sassy has shown she can handle being alone all day.

    Any concern about Sassy eating that much uncooked meat or are dogs' stomachs stronger than ours?

    They're teasing is with a chance of rain and sub-100 temps today. It's actually pleasant out right now because there's a breeze and cloud cover.

    Weighed in this morning at WW and was up 2 pounds because yesterday was a very pointy and salty day. The receptionist was acting like we were going to have to have a good cry together and tried to coach me through setting a plan before I finally told her what had happened and reminded her that nobody gains a real two pounds on WW in a single week. 🤣

    This weekend there's a sales tax holiday on clothes and back to school stuff, so I'm pretty sure my weekend will involve running from store to store. Pray for me.
