Morning~
Up early waiting on HVAC. Yep, on a holiday weekend. Yep! 🤬🤬🤬 Apparently our upper unit in attic is backed up and spewing water out the side house drain. Looks horrible. Cha' Ching!
DF visit continues to go well, though he invited relatives to come today that I would prefer NOT have my address (without asking me first), for a cookout. Ugh! These are relatives I TRULY want nothing to do with - so not happy he took liberties without asking me. C'est le vie.
Hope the cruise is going well for SGM!
Lou - how was the game? Is #SummerofLou coming to end?
Tucker is enjoying cooler days and LOTS of extra pool time!

Sorry about the AC unit and the unsavory inbound folks, Skip.
The game is tonight, so I'll report back tomorrow on how it went.
I'm up far too early today for what i want to accomplish. I wanted to get to WW to weigh, but coffee has become necessary and I don't want the receptionist pity over whatever the gain might be as a result. However, I just checked the home scale and determined that it's not working properly, so I need to hold out to get on the scale and assess damage.
Cecilia may be extending her trip to Brazil because the eye surgeon is rescheduling her mom's cataract surgery for Friday. We don't know if the lenses are in or if this another case of stringing her along but none of Cecilia's siblings are available next weekend if her mom does get the surgery.0 -

Then on the boat we go.
Definitely not taking an 18 hr flight when 5hrs is available. One would waste another whole day jet lagged and recovering.... least I'd be tired.

- Aah, the unsavory side of the family. We all Most of us have one.
- Good luck with the A/C. I am nursing my 7 yo Lennox. I almost look forward to replacing it and getting something more reliable. Unfortunately, I don't have a warm fuzzy feeling with any of them.
- Last minute ice cream run on the scooter last night. Always good to get out.

Yesterdays hike took us over the mountain to a neighborhood so we stopped for a beer and some AC before taking the 3 mile on the road trek home. Then a nice nap.

DW does not care provided they do not interrupt her watching GA game this afternoon and she has already told DMIL not to talk or ask questions during game. She always asks how many 1st downs a team gets and do they have 5 or six quarters.0 -
Everybody knows there are 6 quarters in a football game. Why would there be an odd number? Actually I don't think the Ducks want to play the Dawgs any longer than necessary today.0
