    Good morning gentlemen.

    Incredible how little attention is now paid to 9-11, isn't it? I suppose it was the same when my parent's generation thought of Pearl Harbor Day, in the 1960s.

    Rita feels much better today. So that's a good thing. And I seem to have avoided catching her cold, which is also a good thing. Church this morning, followed by the annual church event kicking off all the fall activities and programs. There will be games and competitions for the kids, with mostly handmade prizes. I contributed 30 spinning tops turned on my lathe.

    Good Morning

    Heat wave is over. We sat outside in the afternoon enjoying some wine & cheese and just talked. During an evening stroll we felt some almost rain, likely moisture from the rare Mexican hurricane that cut in at the border. Off today to the North Bay to walk by the Bay and explore Martinez a bit.

    Good Morning,
    Men's club breakfast at church this morning then early service where we honored 1st responders and prayed for families effected by 9-11, then Sunday school
    Damp rainy day yesterday morning where I decided not to go on ride due to weather, this morning started out with heavy fog and limited visibility, cloudy now but starting to break up,
    Picked beans and okra yesterday because grandparents would flip in their graves if I was working on Sunday.

    Good afternoon.

    I have been busier the last couple of days, and am feeling it today. A nap for sure before watching the Chiefs beat the cardinals. I am still not well. I noticed how much I was out of breath and needed to sit, just from dusting. Another rebuild.

    9-11 should not be forgotten, and Pearl Harbor should also not be forgotten. Prayers for all families affected by these two great and horrible events.

    I have been to the Arizona memorial in Pearl Harbor. I have never been to NYC.

    We had almost 3/4 of an inch of much needed rain yesterday. Sunny and fall-like today. Back to sunny and upper 80s to low 90s for the next week or more.

    I have lost 7 pounds since early August.
