    Mornin' BBB

    Well, left the house 5:30 am Saturday for Maine. Got to the trial site just after 10 am. Run Lucy in the puppy stake and won third place. Dinner out with the owner of the dog that won the open that day and a small group of trial friends. The owner picked up the tab! Very nice. Amazing dog too.
    Might have had too much champagne with same group back at the hotel.
    Next day, me nursing a nasty champagne hangover, Babe was having a nice trial until we passed a bird in the second. A problem a lot of dogs were having. So we had an early exit and got home around 6 pm.

    We started yesterday's trial with a brief 9/11 memorial day service.

    AB is first place in my book! Sounds like you had a nice trek! What part of Maine were you in, Lee (Smithfield)? That's not from from my High School in Hinckley, Maine!

    Yesterday was a bit somber. Watched alot of History channel documentary's. Its hard to believe that was 20+ years ago already! Ugh.

    Great job Commanders getting a victory! My FF league starting lineup did A-O.K. too.

    back to the "real grind" today. Last full week with me boss. His looming retirement continues to keep me awake most nights. Ugh.

    Wild win for the Mariners over Atlanta last night - blew a 4-point lead in the top of the 9th, then won with two homers in the bottom. Looking as though the longest playoff drought in U.S. sports is about to end.

    Early appointment at VA this morning, for a hearing test. They say, if you accuse everyone of mumbling you might need hearing aids. That describes me.

    Heavy rains here since yesterday some potential flooding. We are fine. Hope others are also...

    Moving forward with our new shed. Got the permit, hired the gravel pad guy, etc
    Should be done by end of October.

    Our homeowners are going to the Seahawks game tonight. She made them split jerseys to represent her favorite team and quarterback. :). Hoping to make it on the big screen.

    Good morning afternoon BBB Friends.
    • Got up well before sunrise to make breakfast for the UMM. I was the guest speaker too. Talked about my Boys State / Boys Nation experience.
    • Hopefully they will finish servicing the motorbike before the end of the day. The plan is to head for Appalachian Mountains tomorrow and spend the rest of the week riding.
