I am in my 60's, I have been heavy for the better part of my life. Having diabetes, fibrillation, painful knees, long covid - now on oxygen & obese moving is painful. However, I know that not moving will only make it worse. So for the past 2 weeks I have started walking again. At first I could only make it down 2 mailboxes on my street. Now I am up to 3 1/2. I wear a fitbit on my ankle with helps. At over 4k steps in a day, trying to slowly increase to 5k. Needing to build stamina, and it is slowly, very slowly working.
