Melancholy mood.
Picking up boss to go to office to conduct an Agency-wide "Virtual" retirement. This is going to be a tough day. Tomorrow will be tougher as its just a much smaller soiree over dinner. Not looking forward to this.
Hope #Sassy is mending and resting and getting extra attention! How's Rita? Hopefully improving.
My weekend conference is 12-3 in Laurel, MD both Sat/Sun. My chances of making Anna are now nil.
Monday, begins a new chapter - with a new boss. Ugh!

Both girls seem to be progressing - and both are impatient at the speed of recovery.
It was 80, here yesterday, but 70 today. Still dry, though. We're having an exceptional September. Too bad I can't get away for a hike.

Sorry for the loss of your boss. Hopefully the next one will be acceptable.
We went for a short walk this morning...it was HUMID so we didn't do our normal morning.
Then to walgreens for smaller a few smaller toiletries we can carryon and medicines to take to Cuba. My new suitcase should arrive in Saturday then we just meet to pack and make sure we are under 22#

Day got away from me, Busy!
Had a late afternoon visit from my 86yr only aunt. Hadnt been to this house and was adamant to see it, and drove an hour to come. Nice afternoon and early supper had .
