    TGIF! Been a long week. Late night on conf calls w/ new boss (still trying to find a good cadence) and conf call related to Ian.

    Gonna be a long and wet weekend here in DMV as we get the remnants of the storm. Ugh.

    Hope all are ready for relaxing weekend .

    Kelly - hope you are feeling better!

    Mary - DS was awesome and found four tix for Dallas game. Thank you! He was VERY polite and easy to work with!

    May have been my "**** hits the fan" comment. Ugh. I thought I used a non offensive word. It would be nice if the offender was at least notified.
    Tomorrow will be my TGIF, I hope.
    Ian remnants will be here tomorrow and Sunday. I was going to try and hit the salt in my wee boat but there will almost certainly be a small craft advisory on Sunday. I am not that hardcore, anymore.

    WTG, Doc! Now we are all on the MFP watch list! There goes my perfect social credit score! (has anyone seen this story about what some countries are doing with social credit scores???.....scary S**T)!!!!

    Way to get us all on the naughty list, Lee! Now I have to spend more time on Inspirational Twitter to rebalance my social credit score...

    A class C misdemeanor traffic ticket is what 25 people were pulled into Jury duty over yesterday. I was not picked and got to leave at around 11. I may have blown a kiss to the prosecutor to better my chances of dismissal. I suppose I'll take the win, but with a maximum fine of $500, we could have passed a hat for the guy instead.

    We're going to the AYCE Brazilian place tonight for a farewell dinner for one of the guys in the complex who's moving out of town to be closer to his son. Then tomorrow we're off to Houston because the Brazilian elections are on Sunday and voting is compulsory.

    Glad to hear ds1 helped out Skip. Now if only the many Wisconsin fans would just leave him be for that oct. game....

    Ds2 & ddil are hosting Thanksgiving dinner this year! I'm to bring greenbeans and a folding table. I can do that!

    We are lake bound at 4pm. Suppose to be sunny in the 60s, but 40s during night brrrr. Last boat rides, then time to trailer it up for the season boohoo.

    Dermatology appointment this morning, then I'll try to enjoy another 71-degree, sunny day. Closing out the most pleasant September I have ever seen.

    Headed out early for our bike ride. We need to hurry home as our homeowners have wine coming that we need to sign for.

    FIL is safe in Clearwater. He will head to home today to check out his house but neighbors report the are fine.

    • My mother taught me that I would be judged by the people I hang out with, and I thought hanging with a DVM would be a good thing. Oh well, back to the bikers.
    • Yesterdays lunch ride was good, but Stella's brake lights were doing weird things, so she is in the Honda Hospital this morning. Looks like a bad brake light switch.
    • It would definitely be good to hear from Raine. They are in a hard-hit area. Hopefully they've just lost power.
    • We are pretty much unscathed. It is gray and windy but no real storm.

    Cloudy today, did run through lite rain coming back from getting rain suit.
    Rain took care of a few bugs splattered on Toad.
    We could use some rain here but not a drop.
    Finished shower except for grab bars, now getting calls wanting a couple more done.
    DD and family still out on boat, dock closed in FL told they would be able to disembark tomorrow.
    Gym early in morning, planning on being done and gone before others get in, then will have to fax invoices on Monday and run bank cards that did not clear again.
