    Mornin' BBB

WINDY. Small boat advisory, so no wee boat in the salt today.
So glad that Raine, Larry, and Tom suffered only loss of power. I had confidence that they would not build a home that would be easily succumb to a hurricane. Sadly, greed has promoted the building of communities in areas that are susceptible to severe weather and with sketchy building codes leading to catastrophic loss. And I do not understand why there was not mandatory evacuation of the barrier islands.
Very nice about DBIL's flag being sent to his sister in DC.
Would love to hear DH's theory on how you caught COVID Kelly. Is it conspiratorial? Did it involve a bat? Glad you are feeling better!

    Good morning!

Kelly, this theory, is it on how you got it, or on how he didnt? Glad your better!

I'll make brunch on the blackstone around 10a. Then boat ride and pack up for home.

    Morning BBB

Glad Raine and Tom checked in.

Our last full day in Arizona. Our homeowners get home late tonight. We are mostly packed up and just have some cleaning and laundry to do.

And I need to retool our route to Colorado. I waited to long to book our hotel in Montrose ( I was waiting to see if it was going to snow on the pass) and now the hotels I have points with are sold out. After our hike I’ll either find something else or reroute through grand junction or see if IHG has anything. I don’t have as many points there so probably not an option. I completely forgot it would be leaf season and might sell out.

We could camp all three nights but it gets mighty cold at those elevations and I really want a shower the day we meet our new homeowners. Shrug. It will all work out.

    Good Morning,
    Been churched and schooled
Planning on taking it easy today, DW thinks I've been doing too much
Tomorrow will have to start working on construction at Collinswood, Emmaus walks start Thursday week.
Day started out cool but warming to mid 70's, we still need rain

    Good morning BBB Friends.
    • In the words of my friend just west of here, "I've been churched and schooled." I performed my A/V duties too.
    • Steph, the drive from AZ to CO should be scenic. I would love to do it on 2 wheels.
    • Mary, buttoning up the lake toys in fall is always a sad time. I just remember keeping up with 2 properties was a lot of work and I don't have Sam's energy.
    • From noon on today is sports day!
