    Tough day for our BBB Division Series hopefuls (ATL & SEA). Ugh.

    Amazing football yesterday. Tennessee. TCU we’re both fun games to watch.

    Still not feeling good. Laying low today.

    Sad to lose the longest scoreless post-season game in MLB history, but so it goes. Better luck next year.

    Our weather continues its historic run, too. Record highs the last two days and should break another record today. It will be a bit cooler for the next several days (around 70) before we get closer to normal with rainy days in the high 50s.

    Church, this morning, then we'll see what the day brings. After I spent more than six hours watching baseball, yesterday, the boss might not think much of my vegging out with football, today.

    Morning BBB

    Today we will pack & clean up and move to our next housesit. Homeowners haven’t said when they will be home. I’m hoping around noon. I expect they will text soon. We have had no communication since they left but they were disperse camping across the west and she said they likely would have limited communication. It’s just weird. Our last homeowners chatted with us at least twice a week and there was no pet.

    It’s cool and gloomy today here but warms back up to 70’s tomorrow.

    Good morning.

    We went to Belton, TX for Market Days. The courthouse (and the entire downtown) burned in 1889,so that part of the trip was a success. There was a good BBQ place there as well where yours truly consumed this.

    Lou, I recall fondly Schopfs Barbecue, in Belton. I might be wrong on the spelling. Was that where you went? I never had brisket there, but tried everything else, including goat. Their ribs were to die for. Of course, we left Central Texas 24 years ago.

    • All my normal Sunday morning activities are complete.
    • That was some marathon last night in Seattle. Sorry it didn't have a different outcome.
    • Looks like the 5th and 6th seed will be playing for the National League Championship. I guess it all comes down to who's hot at the right time. I remember when the team with the best record was the league champion.
    • DW is off to Kohl's because she has a coupon that expires today. I don't know that we need anything but she has a coupon.
    • Looks like good BBQ Lou.

    Got lots done, most importantly the boat is winterized and tucked in for winter.

    One more full weekend of shut down chores and done.

    Came home to FedX box delivery, it was a huge box of Godiva chocolates and a dinner gift card. Happy Birthday from my new FL boss. That was nice.
