LOTS of rain came through yesterday and last night. Torrential off and on. Super warm and still spitting a little this am.
Busy day at the clinic yesterday. Good outcomes with patients all day and everyone went home happy. Some days the patients are not so fortunate and makes us super grateful for days where no horrible diagnosis is made and no hard decisions must be contemplated.
DDIL is visiting today. Left DS#1 and dogs in Germany to come home to visit her family and check on house in Alabama. LOVE this kid.

    Be OP ;-)

Mornin' gents. Lotsa rain here too, and pouring on and off still this morning.

Oil change in an hour at the garage up the road. I'll probably wait for it, if the rain keeps up. I usually walk home (a mile) but we'll see...

    Gotta run.

    Good morning!

Frosty cold here in Kansas. We've had our extended heat, now we have 10+ days of below average temps. We have chances for snow on a few days next week.

Connie has been feeling bad for several days. I think she probably has COVID. She says it is an old fashioned cold.

Dr. Lee, yesterday Connie got up from her chair for a second, and Frankie ate the last of her cinnamon raisin English muffin. Banfield suggested that we bring her in. So, I left work and took her to Banfield. There they gave her something to induce vomiting, another to stop the vomiting, charcoal to bind the toxins, and a blood test. $530 later, we think that she got the raisins out of her stomach. They want us to bring her in on Monday for another blood test, but I think that we and she has been through enough. The first blood test didn't show any elevated (beyond previous levels) of the liver or other enzymes.

This morning I get to go the the grocery and do some of the things that Connie usually does.

    Have a great day!

    Good morning gentlemen.

Chilly morning (35) with a sunny afternoon (47) forecast. A very nice fall day.

I'll spend the day inside at the holiday bazaar. There are a bunch of pieces I hope don't sell. Rita said everything should go on the table, but some of these are things I really love and don't want to part with. I priced them high. We'll see how it goes.

    Good Morning

Another fun night of limited sleep. Not sure what the deal is beyond early morning discomfort, but it is getting old. So I will be more proactive with the ice and TENS and see. My son and I had our "Mom's gone, lets get Indian food" night. Over the years we have learned to order just a few things rather than all the favorites. We stuck mostly with fish. My knee didn't enjoy the short walk as much as I hoped but I will give it another try today along with ice and TENS.

Ooooh gotta love "mom's gone let's get Indian food night!) I could do that in a heartbeat.
Good luck with the ice and TENS.
    Nice cool fall day today.
