Some more rain this morning, cooled off from yesterday's 70º. Tuesday and Wednesday we're supposed to have snow accumulations. I took advantage of the warmth yesterday and hiked along the Swift River which was roaring over the rocks from the downpours we had Friday night. Reminded me of doing whitewater in the canoe, but that was in yesteryear.

I never knew raisins were dangerous for dogs. Hope Frankie's alright.

Nearby Worcester has reinstated indoor mask recommendation. COVID is still around, flu is spreading, and now there's RSV going around that's putting lots of people in the hospital, apparently. DSIL told me the other day his friend's 57 year old wife died of COVID, and the State's website shows 83 people died of COVID over the last 7 days, in Mass. , which you don't hear on the news. Can't hide under the bed, I suppose, but I am still careful.

Church this morning, then maybe watch the Pat's play.

    Good morning gentlemen.

The bazaar was a success, at least on the monetary level. I sold a lot - probably two thirds of all I had on display. But I mourn the departure of many pieces I really loved and will never see or hold again. Still, making well in excess of a thousand dollars in one day's sales at an amateur bazaar is pretty good.

It's just after 6 a.m. and I'm getting ready to watch Seahawks football, thanks to the time difference from Munich. Strange to watch football before church, rather than after. It will give me open time to take a walk with Sassy this afternoon.

    Good morning!

Frankie is doing much better. Even her friend Dr. Lee called to check on her!

I woke up to 13 degrees outside this morning. Just a couple of days ago it was in the 70s. ugh! I don't care for winter. 62 of them, and I still don't care for them.

Congratulations, Dave on your success at the bazaar. I know that you will miss some of your pieces, but this will give you opportunity and space to make some more!

Connie is still very sick with a cold. I am helping her out where I can. I made her breakfast this morning. She took a home COVID test and it was negative. I tested negative on my last bout with COVID. I don't put much stock in those home tests.

    Have a great day!

    Mornin' gents.

The conspiracy theorists would surmise that the home tests are now rigged to test negative. Praying for Connie to feel better real soon.
Yes, I was surprised to find out grapes and raisins were toxic 20 yrs ago when it was first identified as a toxin.
Thank God for Poison Control to get the info out the veterinary community and pet owners.
Congrats on the sale of your artistry, Dave. A true artist hates selling their good stuff.
Cool and damp here. Not sure if there will be any birdies out this afternoon but at least yhe girls will get to stretch their legs.

    Be OP ;-)

    Good Morning

Congratulations on you success at the Bazaar. I am sorry it is hard to let special pieces go. That's the difference between being an artisan vs a business.

I made some pizza dough yesterday midday and dug out the pizza stone I used to do on the grill, but now used the oven instead. Quite good, though I caved on a third slice. Tracked it though. I will skip a walk today. Yesterday's was a bit of a nerve pain fiasco so I stopped at the local market, hobbled home and ended up with Tramadol and Tylenol ER into the night. Nothing special today besides getting some things done around the house and resting, icing etc.
