    Mornin' BBB.

    Hope all had a nice Thanksgiving. It was just DW and me. DS#2 pulled a last minute no show, so we'll try and do a family dinner this coming Sunday.
    As a result, spent some quality time with DW, who still whipped up some good eats to accompany the bacon wrapped smoked quails and cranberry and herb encrusted turkey breast. We are thankful for each other. I might have spent some quality time with the girls in the am as well. Called and messaged with distant family.
    Back to work this am.

    Morning~

    Relaxing day here in Aldie, too! Cracker Barrel to go was enough to feed twice as many as the three of us! Wasn't really successful in most attempts but got down some minced turkey and potatoes. Watched some football. Sipped some sudds.

    Today is off for another barium swallow and a ride to the Shenandoah to look at another property that DW really likes.

    Still quite tired. Can't seem to shake the lethargy.

    Good morning BBB friends.

    We had a wonderful gathering with family. Ate too much - I didn't really need slices of both kinds of pie.

    The Shenandoah would appeal more to me than the NC coast. But that's just my fear of hurricanes.

    Hoping for a quiet day in the shop and walking the dog, today.

    • Dave, that might have something to do with the proximity to the Appalachian Trail and some great hiking. But I agree, far less chance of a hurricane.
    • I've been feeling funky since my shingles shot on Tuesday. We had guest coming for dinner yesterday, so I took a home covid test and it was negative.
    • Neighbor who lost his wife a few months ago joined us with his dog and we all had dinner. Nothing fancy. DW made a turkey breast and all the normal fixins. That and football was our day.
    • Can anyone recommend a good virtual WW meeting? I think Lisa does one on Sunday morning but that won't work.

    Hope everyone is finding great Black Friday Deals, so far nothing has showed up on my computer
    and I am not motivated to get out and look for anything.
    Ate way too much sodium yesterday, though I limited myself to plate and last night a half of sandwich with chips.

    Glad you all had a good day. Hope everyone is getting well and staying healthy.

    Dennis... Thats why I'm delaying the Shingles shot. We should do it soon though. Before it bites us!

    We had a nice meal with just our 6 kids. Now onto to my ds2s shin dig for both his and hers family their first Thanksgiving party. 26 folks for smoked turkeys and all the fixings at 5pm.

    Mean while ds1 and df Tom got some lights outside in nice 50F weather yesterday and more nice temps coming. All the snow is gone.

    New shed is supposedly coming here Monday. Tom took off. I didn't want to be dealing with it...lol

    I had a head start shopping sales online last couple weeks. I learned to get what I want sooner. Or its sold out.
