Stress kept me up most of the night tossing / turning. Gave up around 3:30a.

Off to G'Town University to meet surgeon to determine "whats next." Turkey and fixxen's and I did not have a good weekend. 🤬.

Might have overplayed my hand w/ builder who is demanding $250k for a lot premium. Are you nuts!!! DW and I off to Wilmington, NC on Wednesday with hopes we can make something work down there. Hate this!

You got your wish, Mary! Commanders have been strong the past few weeks - but still struggling in the NFC East. My pal is headed to Dallas this week to watch TCU at the Big 12 Championship game. If they win this, they are sure to be in the CFP!

Lou - confused. Did you get the furniture piece?

    Good morning.

We didn't get the furniture. As with everything involving decoration, analysis paralysis kicked in and nothing das done. I'm okay with not spending the money because the entertainment center would naturally lead to a new couch, coffee table, curtains...

    Good Morning,
Lou, I still remember a $11 tablecloth that ended up costing me over $7,000; hate to know what it would cost now because that was back in 80's
Generally, any waterfront lot has a large premium. On Oconee I've seen in excess of a million dollars
    Off to yoga classes

    Mornin' BBB.

Real estate has gone cuckoo. Supply and demand, I guess.
Love the phrase "analysis paralysis". Happens way too often.
Whoops...I have a wet dog that seems to have let herself in that I have to go deal with. DW has a bad habit of not making sure the door is latched shut when she leaves. (((sigh)))

    Good morning BBB friends.

    Sorry about the lot, Skip.

We have an entertainment center that covers most of the end of our family room. I designed and built it in 2005. It's OK, but it was built with space for a rear-projection TV we got rid of long ago. Our current "smart" TV is 11 years old and no longer very smart. For the price we paid then, we can get a really big screen, but it won't fit in the old entertainment center. So: get a new TV, which will lead to new entertainment center, also probably a new sound system, and my recliner is worn out .... So we procrastinate.

    Good morning BBB Friends.
    • Started my Monday with the ROMEOs.
    • As the cost of building supplies sky-rocketed and demand increased with COVID it appears builders are using lot premiums to regulate their prices. Much easier to raise and lower lot premiums than the advertised price of the house.
    • The change in televisions over the years have caused a lot of furniture to become outdated.
    • We are going from warm to wet to cold this week.
    • Mary and Skip, my Falcons gave your Redskins Commanders a gift this week.

SGM - I laughed "smart tv is no longer smart" -

It's blistering to see the pace of technology in TV's anymore. I know I'm getting old(er) as I cuss a little more and more each time I try to find how to toggle to another venue like AppleTV; Netflix; Amazon; etc. Alexa helps but she's onto my sarcasm and I think she, like DW and DMIL, tune me out most of the time

    Wet dog smell! Haaaa!

I’m pooped. Worked around here all weekend.
5 bedrooms is not a downsize. I’m all about still having 4 but not as much square footage.
I’m already in my pjs. Refer to first sentence.
