Got rid of DMIL for balance year, she harassed DSIL till she came and got her, went downstairs to turndown thermostat whole basement smells like an assisted living center that is not keep that clean, DW found a bag of throwaway pullups, top not closed, she knows these are to go in large trash can daily where I can haul off.
Preparing meal for lodge tonight; baked ham, sweet potato casserole, broccoli and cauliflower casserole, rolls and tea.
Bill, hope pain levels stay down

Good morning gentlemen.
Sorry about Holy Cross, Mike. It was a tight game for 3/4.
Our Christmas with the kids will be on the 21st, as they will be in the mountains for a week, after that. Still haven't found any presents for the grandkids, but now have a few ideas, at least. I have always been a last-minute shopper, anyway. DW panics, however.
Medical errands and calls to make, today. Have to arrange that PT appointment, for me, and schedule DW for her 10-year colonoscopy. Also need to pick up a new prescription, for her. While we are out, we have banking to do, too. They have finally offered some CDs with a better interest rate, so we are going to park some money where it will earn a bit more.0 -
Good Morning
Sam, I can't imagine your situation. Peace to you and your wife.
We managed to get our decorations down from storage in the garage and decorated the tree. With pain management it took a while to do but we listened to music and talked. I am not able to go up and down step ladders too well due to the pain in my hip/glute, so Heather did that. I managed to go up twice to fix a burnt out bulb and place the angel. I struck a gymnast "stuck the landing" pose. I will finish decorating the house today as I clean. I am calling the pain Dr for a telephone appointment so I can discuss with them a copy of the letter attesting that there is no evidence I had a TIA stroke or am at risk per the many tests run. Hopefully they will schedule me in early January for a procedure since I am slowly loosing capabilities. Our wonderful rain is moving out now. But we got plenty of snow in the Sierras a good soaking here. Hopefully it is a sign of things to come.0 -
Sam, perhaps this offering from Amazon Fashion will help. In time for Christmas too!

Ha ha Bill. Sorry about the DMIL Sam.
Hang in there Bill with your possible TIA event or possible one. With my somewhat wacky heart I have been tested, and also cramps in the calves etc. I do have PACs (pre atrial contractions) but no AFIB or evidence of TIA or heart attacks etc. I count my lucky stars that way and can mostly control the PACs by
limiting caffeine and alcohol etc.
Hang in there everyone with all the medical tests, PT, and the usual assortment of aches and pains.
Going to get cold here with highs in the mid 30s and lows likely in the low 20s later this week.
No lowland snow in the short term.0 -
Good afternoon!
Late check-in today.
Sam, I am glad that you get some time off as primary care giver. I pray you will get some rest over the holidays.
Bill, still holding you in prayer for health issues and pain management.
Dave, also praying that your Dr visits and shopping go well. I need to look into CDs as well. The rates are better now than what they have been in years. The flip side is more expensive to borrow. Hopefully, none of you guys are buying anything big soon. I pray that Bill will get a good mortgage rate when he and Heather move to Oregon.
Have a great rest of your day!0
