So good to hear that it appears that this last procedure seems to have done the trick, Skip. That has got to be a huge relief. You and Tucker should go Tik Tok.
I find phone stuff irritating. Sometimes I just wish we, as a society, would disconnect. But then we would not be able to post here and have this community.
So two double Jameson's weren't enough to get the cussing lady cursing? I think I would be looking to take a nap or at least slurring my words.
Trial season is over for 2022, so took the girls for a fun hunt yesterday morning. It was fun for them, but I was cold and fatigued. So I took a nap when we got home.
Got a lot of Christmas shopping done yesterday afternoon while prepping for a Puerto Rican Pernil with Arroz con Gandules for our end of season dinner at the hunt club Saturday. Nobody there is Puerto Rican, but it is a delicious meal that involves roasting pig.
Deciding on elder care is difficult. Not many can handle it home, it is a huge sacrifice.
Wintry mix here right now. It won't stick due to above freezing temps and predicted rain. The ground will turn to a super slick mushy mess because the ground is frozen underneath. Ugh.

TGIF! Took day off. Going to get haircut and run some errands.
We have a showing on Sunday (all cash buyer that needs to do a 1031 exchange by 12.31.22). Hope this works out - but CRAP, not sure we are entirely ready for the exodus just yet. We'll figure it out.

If they want to do a 1031 exchange, it sounds like it's for rental purposes anyway, Skip. So it actually seems kind if prefect given what you need to do for a gap period.
Christmas party was yesterday. My pillow gag first went over very well, but not as awesome as our Graphic Designer who made a Monopoly game. You may recognize a familiar face...

Looks like fun gifts.
Dentist appointment went great. Super thorough cleaning for $35. Recommended I get two old filling redone at some point as one is chipped and one beginning to separate. She also saw beginnings of two new cavities…said with good brushing habits those wont need anything for years. Ron got told similar ( which we already knew…his last 2 cleanings have wanted him to repair fillings but at $1500 per tooth it wasn’t too high on our list to do). They quoted $150-$175 for each of us. Overall super happy.
Today a trip to Sam’s is on the agenda. It’s about two blocks away. Can’t find dairy free yogurt so Ron is going to try regular. It will be his first step from vegan eating in almost two years. His call. It’s been hard getting his system back to normal after Cuba and without old favorites.

So ...there's a bun in ddils oven! They are so happy and so are we for them!
They are keeping the news off social media for now! We are all so excited! I was gifted a coffee cup that says I've been promoted from dog Gramma to human Gramma lol....July 19 is the due date. First Dr appt was this last week and all looks good. And Tom's dd is due Jan 29. Shes doing well. No gender reveal for her, they want to be surprised... 2023 is going to be a good year!

Dental is pretty pricey, getting that way for pets as well.

- I had to look up 1031 exchange. Like Lou said, if it is not a primary residence maybe you can rent back until you move into the new home. That's what we did on our last move. Good luck with it.
- Sounds like we have multiple new grandparents on the horizon for BBB.

I’m already pooped from the week. I have my food baking. I know it’s early but I can reheat. I’m starving. Nearly to goal weight again. Go me!! 5# to go. So, I’m having a bottle of Prosecco. It’s the tiny one serving bottle.

Did I tell you that ds2 is looking at rings? His gf is 2 years younger than him and she just graduated butler this week. Super smart. Has her job lined up to start in January at Eli Lilly in Indy. Very proud of her.
Glad you’re feeling better skip. Hope the sell goes thru. Gotta take it while it’s hot.
