    Horrible about the fire, Sam. Hope there is support for DS and his fellow firefighters.

    Sam - ugh! I'm sorry to hear about that. Turns my stomach every time we see/read about this! It's devastating for sooooo many!

    I'll find someplace.....just trying to find someplace that isn't going to charge me $250+ a month! Last storage place I used for my old Wrangler was about $110 a month. Is this the first sign of getting older? ".....I remember when candy was a nickel" mutterings? Haaaaa.

    Working today and tomorrow and then off through the New Year!

    Just did video convo w/ surgeon this morning for follow up! Had a super weekend of eating! Me Dad sent Maine favorites (Whoopee Pies); managed to get down some mini burritos and chips/queso. Great weekend! He and I are energized that we might be on the right path!

    Savannah is going to be cold for down there Dennis, be sure to pack heavy clothes and you and Kris have a GREAT time.

    Morning BBB

    Had a mostly lazy day yesterday as it was mostly overcast and raining much of the day. Our housemates watched football while I read. Then we walked uptown for the Christmas parade. It started almost an hour late so should have eaten dinner before hand. Such is island time.

    Today looks better. Might trek up to the central market. Still haven’t found flour tortillas…all have been corn. George took the day off today as we talked about renting a catamaran and going snorkeling but we all decided the day pass at the beach was better so might go back if Teresa can finish work early.

    Slept in, this morning. Didn't get up until 6:30. Felt good to get a solid night's sleep for once.

    We're looking at a high of 34 and an afternoon of snow flurries. Talk of beach time and catamarans sounds pretty good.

    Darn it, I was hoping DC would win that football game!

    I'm officially in a good place with Christmas prep and everything else coming down the pipeline for next Weekend!

    I'm working thru through 12/22 then off til Jan 2

    Dinner out at a German place with house guest tonite.... shes somewhere on the road just north of Indy now.

    Sam, Your son is a Hero! Sorry for that family and life lost.

    Cold here.

    Ds1 and 2 will be here this weekend with their significant others. Natalie the gf of #2 graduated a semester early from butler. She’s pretty excited.

    Got my hair done. WITW can a hairdresser have perfection one time then make your hair look red the next? Inquiring minds want to know because this mind here in Indiana is not happy. Oh well.

    King pao chicken for dinner. Yum.
    6# to goal weight. It was 5.

    Most hairdressers keep a file on each customer, what customers do not realize is that their body chemistry changes which effects chemical reactions

    I remember when my DW's colorist blamed our well water for the green tint when she had been getting her hair routinely colored for years prior and we had the same water. We put a special head on our shower to chelate out the copper which was supposedly the culprit to no avail. DW quit getting her hair colored and just embraced the grey at that point.
