    Good morning gentlemen.

Had a very quiet day yesterday. Our first Christmas without our DS in all his 34 years. We did Facetime with the grandkids.

Nothing planned for today, either. I start my PT schedule tomorrow and have some "homework" to do. It's really warm, for late December (55 degrees at 6 a.m.), windy and raining steadily. Classic pineapple express atmospheric river, following on the heels of the ice we had last week.

    Morning.

Had a nice brunch yesterday with DS and his GF, and then a visit with DD and her nearly grown kids. She drove her sister to the airport only to discover the flight had already taken off. Rebooked and drove her there again this morning…

Heard late yesterday my other daughter’s friend had passed away. Thanks for everyone’s kind words and prayers.

    Good morning!

I'm enjoying another day off from work. It is 17 and snowing here.

Yesterday was a very hard day, especially for Connie. Although it has been 12 years, the grief is still fresh. I will do all that I can to take care of her today. I made the entire lunch yesterday, and I'm fine with that.

Today, I need to get some housecleaning done. Dust, vacuum, laundry, etc. I will still have a little time just for relaxing.

Dave, I hope that your PT goes well, and brings you relief.

Bill, holding you in prayer for your COVID.

Mike, holding your daughter and her friend's family in prayer.

Connie has a childhood friend whose 30 y.o. son was in a crash late last week. He is in ICU, and they took him off life support yesterday. It does not look good. That also added to Connie's grief yesterday.

I am glad that I'm not driving into KCMO in the snow!

    Have a great day!

We had good weather on Christmas eve that was melting the snow/ice. We went to the Zoo Lights in pdx. Wonderful time there with DD, DSIL, DS and DW.
Christmas was at our daughter and son-in-law's house nearby. Too much stuff including too many food items. We will cook the Salmon toniught so that is good. Attempts to simplify Christmas have not been successful. I did get out for an early bike ride with so doable encouters of slushy patches. Our son and DDIL made a wonderful paella for dinner last night too.

Yup as Dave says waaaaay to warm. 54degrees in PDX right now.

So sorry to hear about your daughter's friend passing Mike. Always hard.

Oh no Steve. so sorry to hear that in addition to Connie's 12 grief that a friend's son is in ICU and more.

Sending all my best Ts and Ps to everyone.

    Good Morning

Had a bit of a downturn yesterday with congestion and coughing. But we didn't do anything and the only sign of Christmas here was Heather deciding to watch Die Hard to see her Bruce in action last night. The good news is I tested negative this morning and finished the medicines so hopefully my breathing will improve again. Plumber due in a couple of hours to open the wall under the sink and adjacent cabinet and effect the repair of the kitchen drain system. Lots of rain coming in this week. More than we have had in quite a while. I need to go out and make sure the pop up drain is unencumbered.

    Prayers for Connie and Steve
